In the Gospel today, Jesus continues his healing ministry by curing a leper. Who are those who are considered “unclean” in our society today? Who are those that must remain sepa-rated from the community? They might be those coming out of jails, or those suffering from mental illness. They might be suffering from a disease that we fear—like Ebola or AIDS. They might be undocumented immigrants who fear that their families might be deported and torn apart. They might be the poor just struggling to keep their lives together. How can we continue the ministry of Jesus today by reaching out to those who feel rejected and cast out of society?

Cancer Survivors: March 10 The cancer survivors retreat will be a time for survivors to share their stories. Wanda Gibson, a spiritual director and cancer sur-vivor will lead this prayerful day of reflection. Whether you are celebrating one week or twenty years since your cancer experi-ence you are invited to join us in courageous company as we allow our mind, body and spirit to engage, heal, rest and rejoice.
