    1. System Design (Design Tool: AutoCAD, Catia V5 R-16, Ansys): Preparation of liquid

    dosing system layout & selection of piping components & preparing the bill of

    materials. Extruders machines needs the liquid materials injection to EPZ (Extruder

    Processing Zone) along with main materials & additives. Designing of vessels &

    supporting fabrication systems. Designing of water tanks for vacuums systems.

    Performance Testing of Side feeders & Technical Report (Skills: Experimentationplans & procedures, report making, presentation): The technical report is consisting,

    objective of experiments, images or picture of materials, Tabulation, Graphs,

    Engineering calculations, analysis results & conclusion.2. Strands quenching tank: Designing of Polymer strand quenching tank based on the rate

    of quenching & temperature of the strand.

    3. Vacuum system design: Vacuum system design for extracting the volatile materialfrom EPZ.

    4. Cross Functional Team or product development (Skills: process planning, Heat

    treatment process): Samples process planning for development of Extruder processing

    zone materials. Extruder barrels materials should be Corrosive, abrasive & wearresistant. Sample piece hardness testing before and after the heat treatment process

    (Nitriding) & tabulation the values. Finally, spectroscopic chemical composition

    analysis is done by out side.

    Performance Testing of Side feeders (Skills: in depth Analysis of the product

    performance & Using of Instruments): Performance of the side feeders directly affectsthe quality as well as the quantity of polymer materials. The consistency of side feeders

    are mainstay of polymer compounding process. In depth analysis of the consistency is

    very essential, at different frequencies (Speed), tabulation the corresponding mass

    discharge quantity.

    Effect of polymer materials, conveying Elements, mass of conveying element: polymer

    materials used, Polypropylene (PP), Ethyl vinyl acetate (EVC), Titanium dioxide

    (Tio2), HDP & LDP. Conveying elements are Circular section screw, Rectangularsection screw & Augur screw.

    Effect of polymer materials shape (aspect ratio) on consistency: Comparison between

    the Food grains & polymer materials.

    Instruments used: Plastic jars for Bulk & tap density, Temperature sensors,thermocouple, Weighing scale, Relay, Vibration analysis. Optical instruments for

    analyzing & capturing the image.
