ONE HUGE advantage PURCHASING LED's from TLG instead of BIG BOX STORES

How Warranty is Handled...

Warranty at the Big Box stores are 30 to 90 days...after that you must go to directly to manufacturer. And we all know all the Red Tape that can be involved. First, you must have the original box, receipt and mail defective product to the manufacture at your expense and yet this is no a guarantee. Three expert sales venders have indicated to me that industry standard about 20% of LED's purchased will be a defect at some point within two years.

I want repeat business and I am here to make my customers happy. Simply have the receipt and I will exchange any defective within warranty time frame of purchase.

“Caveat Emptor” (Latin)

With so many unknown L.E.D manufactures now....The principle that the buyer alone is responsible for checking the quality and suitability of goods before a purchase is made.

A few major players have dominated the traditional lighting market in recent years. The transition to solid-state lighting in the form of LED lamps has created a frenzy of activity fromsmaller, low cost producers, some of which are prone to exaggerated claims of efficacy and reliability of their products. Buyers of LED lamps need to understand the underlying factors that affect the efficacy and reliability of these products in order to select the most appropriateproducts for their applications. Reputable suppliers will make available data that supports their product specifications. Furthermore, companies with reputable brands at stake are far less likely to make performance claims that are not sustainable. With so many smaller, anonymous companies entering this high growth market, the advice * “Caveat Emptor” has rarely been more appropriate. However, high quality LED lighting has the potential to add realvalue to people’s lives while contributing to the world’s urgent need to reduce our energy consumption.

• Having the Label Energy Star Certified on products of LED manufacturers cost thousands of dollars. The Energy Star Label is reputable company and they test all products to meet there standards with integrity. However, having that Energy Star Label on packages untimely costs is past on to consumers.

• Drivers/Drivers/Drivers...I cant stress enough about the importance of QUALITY DRIVERS. This is what is in the LED's. You can literally feel the huge weight difference of Drivers from unknown CHINA makers. All drivers get weaker over the years and light output is moderately also weaker. Quality Drivers are important because they produce heat. One key factor to LED lifespan is how driver heat is disbursed and distributed.

• Be AWARE any unknown brands that state claims of 35000 to 50000 hours lifespan. Especially with no Energy Star Certified Label and limited warranty.

• Do not be fooled with lower prices and packs of two....please read fine print...many are not strong lumen and beam degree is only 25. CRI is we weak and not Energy StarQualified. And most important, there is no way they can possess quality Drivers. If yousee PAR 38 LED Bulb ...$15 to $30 range, and GU10 that is $8.00, watch out, things don’t add up...don’t be baited with low pricing...

• Finally, beware of sites like Kijji and Ebay...there is a lot of Junk out there...Spend those extra dollars for quality to save in the long run. LEDs purchase initial cost, may be high, however will be paid off in savings within two to three years approx and enjoyed for many more years. PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT.

Hope TLG has Helped you some way.....
