Overview of Internship


Attend Intern Academy – week long training with all of firm’s interns conducted in January, May and June.

• Receive online CPE credits throughout internship depending on client assignment

• Attend all staff meetings

• Participate in social functions or community service

• Receive periodic internal feedback and intern evaluations

• All interns receive a mentor to guide them through the internship

Teambuilding/Feedback


• Participate in audit engagements in the field working on Cash, A/P, Fixed Assets and Analytics

• Attend planning meetings for an audit

• Preparation and assistance of compilations and reviews

• Assistance with preparation of financial statements

Audit Internship


• Tax CPE using CCH online and CPExpress

• Preparation of a basic returns using ProSystems fx

• Assistance with preparation of C-Corp, S-Corp and Partnership returns (examples taught at Intern Academy)

Tax Internship


• Walkthrough client’s network internal controls

• Assist professionals with SAS 70 reports

• Go to client location and assist ITAG professionals in site visits

ITAG Internship


Each intern has the opportunity to conduct research and complete optional case studies that will develop your audit, tax & soft skills in a professional environment.

Points are assigned to each case study and project.

At the end of your internship, you can redeem your WOW points for different prizes including gift certificates, concert tickets and iPods.

Experience


Objective: Identify and research potential clients for CB&H. You’ll work on this project with other interns in your office throughout the program and present your research to our partner group.

Format: Group project which the interns will present to the partner group during the last week of the internship.
