Main Scripture: Mat. 20 vs. 1-16 Other References: Mat. 19
To understand Matthew chapter 20, it is important to read the preceding
chapter (i.e. Mat. 19), which talks about the rich young ruler. Money is the
biggest test to a man’s trust in God. God said to me that he had already
tested a lot of people in this church with money, and a lot of people have
failed the test. If you are not a giver, it is a lie to proclaim your trust in God.
Money is another god called mammon. Mammon is part of the kingdom of
the devil. You cannot believe God for healing of cancer if you cannot give God
R1000. Your trust in the lord is seen by
giving up everything that you have and
trust that God is your provider. Jesus
said to the disciples ‘leave everything
and follow me’. If you are to come
with your possessions that are not
declared where you got them from, it
will be difficult to trust your testimony of the benefits of following Jesus.
When the disciples left their fishing industry, Jesus did not tell them the
benefits, but just the work they were going to do (i.e. fishers of men).
Maturity is doing things because you love not because you want to get
something. After some time, the disciples had to ask Jesus, ‘what shall we get
since we have followed you.’
Mat 19 vs. 29-30. The first will be
the last and the last will be the first.
Jesus was telling them that although
he had told them the promises, such as making them rulers over tribes
of Israel, there were others who were coming after them to get the
same promises.
“Money Is the biggest test to
a man`s trust in God.”

In Matthew 20, the first group of labourers asked for an agreement or contract of employment from the owner
of the vineyard. You get into a contract because you do not want them to change. You are not sure of the one
who is hiring you. Therefore, the first group of labourers knew what they were going to receive and they agreed
to it. There are people who are in it because of what they stand to get and others who are into it regardless of
what they will get. People want to invest in something so that they can get credit accrued to them later. For
example, you only send an intelligent orphan child to school although there may be some not so gifted orphans
equally in need. Jesus made Judas one of his disciples even though he knew he would later fail.
The vineyard owner did not have a contract with the 2nd and 3rd group of labourers. They trusted him. He
continued hiring until the 11th hour. Everyone received a penny, even those who worked only an hour. This
parable is not talking about money, but the character of the master. Does your master use a calculator to
reward you accordingly or what? Most of us behave like this often murmuring and comparing ourselves with
others who seemingly do not deserve or come later than us. The message is that what you get by accepting the
grace of God is considered a gift. If it is not perceived as a gift then people rightfully feel entitled. We need to
understand the concept of grace. Our father, Dr EH Guti
understands the concept of grace. It is not about being
logical. The God that we serve does not give us what we
deserve, but out of his grace. People study to make their
CVs strong. When God begins to raise you up, people will
complain. God is looking for an opportunity to prosper you,
so just go into the field. See yourself as the person who
comes in at the last hour.
You have a touch of grace. The owner of the vineyard showed the murmuring servants that he treated them to
the level they viewed him. That is why it is wrong to relay on the Law because the book of Romans tells us that
God is just and he judges people based on whatever they chose to be judged. The Law comes from
consequence hence people ask what will happen to me if I do not pay tithes. It is not out of love but out of
sentence.
Most people do not love God but fear hell. Why? Because the message of hell has been preached too much,
more than the message of grace and love. It is your choice to get things by bribing. You do not give to get a
favour but to honour God through that person you are giving. The lord can bless you such that others will
complain. Grace goes to the good side of God not the good side of men.
“You have a touch of Grace”
The owner of the vineyard was not even there during the last hour (11th hour) of the day, so there was no way
he could have seen the performance of the last group of labourers. This last group of labourers did not leave
the job market because they were waiting for the grace of God. The life of a believer is supposed to be like
fiction. People should say it is impossible, whilst you continue rising. In 2016, whatever will happen to you is
already in you. Do not seek it from outside. God has given it to you so all you need to do is to bring it out.

Anita Dube: “Delivered from sleepless night”
The devil has been tormenting me for years but when I attended the night of Exploits when the man of God
Pastor Dan prayed for me and rebuked this spirit, since that day am now free. I am now able to sleep like a baby
with no evil spirits tormenting me during the night. I saw and experienced the mighty hand of God. Glory to
Jesus our Deliverer.
Mr Dzenga: “Revealed to sponsor AMFCC Evening Students 2016”
God spoke to me to sponsor the AMFCC Evening students for 2016 intake. I spoke with the Pastor that God has
been talking with me to do this. I am thanking God for keeping me in this church since I lost my wife and He has
been giving me strength each and every day.
Deacon Menasse Bande: “God gave me a job permanently”
When I lost my job early this year things were bad but God of our father was providing for the family .I want to
thank God of our father that I managed to get a job that am free to attend Sunday church services though the
employer wanted me to work on Sundays By His grace I got the job in the name of Jesus Christ.
