The Center for Church Financial Management (CCFM) was created in response
to faith-based entities need to train leaders, sta and volunteers in the areas of
Leadership, Financial, and Administrative Management. The Center oers individualsan opportunity to sharpen skills and/or acquire new skills to enhance their abilities to
be eective leaders in a faith-based environment.
While The Center uses the educational facilities of Mount Lebanon Church, The
Center does not teach from any specic denominational perspectives. The Center
is sensitive to various denominational hierarchical governance structures and
incorporates them where applicable.
The Center oers both a structured plan of study leading to certication in a
particular discipline or the ability to take individual classes to meet your current
specic needs.
All classes are held in the new state of the ar t educational facilities of Mount
Lebanon, Chesapeake, VA. All computer classes are held in a computer lab where
participants will each have a computer for hands-on computer learning while the
instructor is teaching.
The Center receives numerous calls daily from pastors, churches, and other faith-based non-prots seeking recommendations on individuals to ll nancial and
administrative roles. Therefore, The Center is committed to maintaining a database
of individuals who become certied to refer to the inquiring entity. This is a win-
win situation. The pastor, church, or other faith-based non-prot knows that the
individual referred to them is capable of performing the job; and the individual is
connected to the job they would not otherwise know about.
Got an opening for such a person? The Center will search their database of
certied candidates to assist in nding such a person. Give us a call @ 757-547-3388
or visit us on the web @ www.themountleads.organd click on The Center link.
