As a reminder, registration is not required to attend CCSH services;

seating is first come, first served. The space will still look different as

we take precautions to create a safe experience for gathering. All

services will continue to be broadcasted in our parking lot for “Drive-In

Church,” as well as aired live on Facebook, YouTube, the CCSH website

or using the CC Signal Hill mobile app. We are also currently offering

Children’s Ministry during 2nd service. Capacity is limited, so sign-ins

will be first come, first served, and a zoom group is available. By the

end of July, we hope to have all services available for the children!

Just before writing this, I took a few minutes to watch a roundtable discussion with the

President of the United States regarding our country’s relationship with Venezuela. Truly,

the subject of the roundtable was to demonstrate how extraordinarily wicked and hopeless

that once promising nation has become. It seemed apparent that this was not a group of

people lobbying for intervention in that very troubled country, it appeared to be a fight to

educate young people in America about the destruction that socialism leaves in its path. One of the variables that never gets discussed about this very topic is the fact that

tyrannical governmental infrastructures such as this form when people turn their hearts

away from God! When God is not at the center of the hearts of those ruling a nation, that

nation goes down the path of destruction. I once used to say, as do many others, that

politics does not belong anywhere near the pulpit. My view of the past represents a grave

error for one simple reason. Politics always emanates from the worldview of those

participating, and that worldview is molded by the pulpits of America. Any pastor who

would say that politics is not anything that should be discussed from the pulpit is also

saying that there are such scenarios in which we should compartmentalize our faith. Daniel

understood the importance of bringing God into the political infrastructure of the nation he

was in. He was an effective witness and a very respected politician during his time. It’s

interesting to note that even as man who was a great influencer in politics, Daniel was

primarily known as a prophet. He took a stand for righteousness always, and influenced

many leaders as a result. Here’s an example of one of the leaders that was impressed by his walk with God and his declaration of the truth. Even in that scenario, Daniel stood up to

the tyrannical nonsense that made a substantial effort to destroy his faith. After Daniel

stood up and put his life at risk, the pagan king declared, “I make a decree, That in every “I make a decree, That in every “I make a decree, That in every “I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.” (Daniel 6:26 KJV) dominion shall be even unto the end.” (Daniel 6:26 KJV) dominion shall be even unto the end.” (Daniel 6:26 KJV) dominion shall be even unto the end.” (Daniel 6:26 KJV) May it be said of us that we will

stand for godly principles in such a dark time! May we always tell the truth and proclaim

God’s principles regardless of the cost! God bless you!
