Bring a friend to the October 16th CCTU meeting. It will be held at the usual place: South Metro Realtor’s Board Office at the corner of Mineral and Broadway. The fun starts at 7pm but come early to get raffle tickets – especially if you bring a guest. Besides all the fun and excitement you can expect at this month’s meeting John Aaron has lined up a special treat for us. You have all fished the Deckers area. Have you ever gone into Flies and Lies? You can go here and get a weekly blog and fishing report: http://www.southplatteoutfitters.com/fishreport.htm

In the Fall 2012 issue of Trout magazine published by TU, there is a book review of The Fly Fisher’s Playbook byDuane R. Redford of Flies and Lies. The book will help with your nymph fishing. Find out secrets of the South Platte River, hear about Duane’s book, and perhaps get an autographed copy.

The book is available in bothPaperback and hardbound.
