Operators DECLARATION (against the specified work only) Initial When Complete Comments 1 Operator has confirmed that the commissioning checklist is complete 2 ISDN LINE NUMBER OR IP ADDRESS LOADED ON DATABASE 3 CMS PASSWORD LOADED (Record password in “comments” column and Sentinel pg4 Duress field) 4 IP ADDRESS/ES LOADED BY ANALYST (IF FASTVU, FAST TRACE OR FAST TX) 5 SITE ID LOADED AND RECORDED ON SENTINEL RECORD 6 RECEIVER NUMBERS PROGRAMMED INTO EQUIPMENT BY ANALYST 7 Sentinel record commissioned with keyholder and other details 8 All staff access times in and out of normal hours received 9 Inventory of CCTV equipment installed at site (Recorded on application form) 10 Cameras named or labeled in accordance with the site plan (not numbered) 11 If PTZ cameras are used, presets incorporated (particularly if covering a large area). Telemetry control should be confirmed by the RVRC and ensure we can move cameras to preset positions 12 Privacy zones set up on cameras that overlook public areas 13 No video alarm enabled on transmitter and Video Failure signal tested through to RVRC 14 Image quality of cameras checked to ensure the nature and detail of an event can be determined 15 All detection devices individually walk tested and confirmed by RVRC 16 Detector ranges on site do not overspill site boundary confirmed by RVRC during walk test 17 Audio system fitted and working (not mandatory). 18 If the system is armed/disarmed via an Intruder Alarm the RVRC must check that are unable to remotely arm or disarm the system. To prevent this, the engineer must connect the intruder alarm to the arm/disarm output pins of the ADPRO unit. However, this does not work on newer versions of ADPRO transmitters. If unsure, ask the engineer to check with ADPRO. BS8418 SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS 19 Multiple detectors connected to one input must be identified by the CCTV control equipment. 20 Entry/Exit Route enabled with appropriate delay where the system is armed inside the secure area. 21 The system status must be indicated to the user where armed and disarmed from outside the secure area or by means of an automatic timer. 22 Both criteria 20 and 21 covered by a static camera, or a PTZ/Dome Camera in it’s home position. 23 Images of camera fields of view stored on the database including relevant presets. 24 Tamper alarm tested through to the RVRC (both detectors and cables to be tested). 25 Restart signal to be confirmed by the receipt of an operation alarm following a system reboot. 26 Secondary Transmission Path or means to monitor line failure tested 27 Instruction placed on relevant intruder alarm account/s to state “Also monitored on CCTV at Manchester. If ACPO policy permits police alarm 1 st then call CCTV on 08702422411” unless customer has provided alternative instructions. Ensure the instruction is linked into the forced actions on Sentinel for Intruder, Confirmed Intruder and Line Fault alarms. 28 Confirm date and time correctly programmed into CCTV transmitter by Engineer. 29 If Fast Trace/TX used, Site Pulse & Isolation Reminder should be programmed. 30 Fast Trace/TX Installer Menu Settings Saved on Server 31 Images of all static camera fields of views stored to database 32 Confirm with engineer system has been fully commissioned & advise system will be subject to a 7 day test period, Installer will be informed of any issues found. 33 Ask engineer if lighting is supplied by customer or Installer and record on form 34 Commissioning Checklist checked by Team Leader of Senior Operator 35 All transmitter settings to be double checked by Team Leader or Senior Operator 36 Port ID and Connect Date to be added to Sentinel Account 37 Lighting Check carried out at night and customer informed of results. Sufficient lighting should be present in all areas of detection. 38 Seven Day Soak Test Successfully Completed Please Confirm a contact name and either a fax number of email address to forward a copy of the commissioning certificate to.
