Bulky Waste is a nationwide charity collection service for waste items that won’t fit in your council-collected bins.

Working with collection partners and local authorities across the UK, we collect electrical products, white goods and other bulky waste - no matter what condition they are in.

This is a convenient, affordable method of disposing of waste that won’t go in your regular waste collections, and is available across the UK.

Customers can book their collection through a simple online hub, by visiting BulkyWaste.org and entering their postcode. If the customer accepts the initial quote given online, we will contact collection partners in the local area to arrange the collection. The collection partner will then contact the customer directly in order to arrange a convenient date and time for the collection. Items are preferably collected from within the customers’ home rather than outside, in order to maximise reuse potential.

Items that are in new or very good condition may be donated to our sister service, Furniture Donation Network. Items collected by Bulky Waste are sorted and processed at an approved treatment facility. We maintain a zero landfill policy and prioritise reuse wherever possible. Reusable items may be refurbished and either passed on to charities, or sold to low-income families at an affordable price, helping to tackle resource poverty.

Bulky Waste helps to support charity through two main avenues. Firstly, revenue from the service goes directly to support charities, including the Recycling Lives charity. Secondly, charities and social enterprises are encouraged as collection partners, providing them with opportunities to generate their own revenue through service provision, as well as resale of reusable items.

Furniture Donation Network is a nationwide collection service that allows householders across the UK to donate furniture and electrical items that are in new or very good condition.

Working with collection partners and local authorities across the UK, we collect good quality items from householders for refurbishing and resale to low income families.

As well as diverting these items away from landfill, Furniture Donation Network provides quality items for resale to those who cannot afford to buy new, helping to tackle resource poverty.

Customers can book their collection through a simple online hub, by visiting FurnitureDonationNetwork.org and entering their postcode, along with photos of the item(s) in order to guarantee their suitability for reuse. This helps to avoid wasted time and disappointment if the items are not reusable. We will then contact collection partners in the local area to arrange the collection. The collection partner will contact the customer directly in order to arrange a convenient date and time for the collection.

Furniture Donation Network can only collect items that are in new or nearly-new condition, as broken or worn items are often difficult for our collection partners to generate revenue from. Instead, they can be collected by our sister service, Bulky Waste. The Bulky Waste service collects bulky items- such as furniture and white goods- regardless of condition. All items will either be reused or, if not possible, recycled.

Furniture Donation Network helps to support charity through two main avenues. Firstly, revenue from the service goes directly to support charities, including the Recycling Lives charity. Secondly, charities and social enterprises are encouraged as collection partners, providing them with opportunities to generate their own revenue through service provision, as well as resale of reusable items.

Home owners and businesses looking to dispose of large amounts of waste can use Skip Hire Network to obtain the most competitive quote available for skip hire, anywhere in the UK.

Our national network of skip providers ensures we can meet customer’s needs, from 4-yard builder’s skips to 40-yard RORO’s, and offer the best quotes possible.

Customers can arrange skip hire quickly and easily through a simple online hub, by visiting SkipHireNetwork.org and entering their postcode, required skip size, and type of material.

If the customer accepts the initial quote given online, we will contact collection partners in the local area to arrange the skip hire. The collection partner will then contact the customer directly in order to arrange a convenient date and time for the delivery of the skip.

We can arrange permits for the skip if necessary- for example, if placed on public land such as a road or pathway.

The customer must only fill the skip with permitted waste types- hazardous wastes and liquids are prohibited. They must also ensure that the skip is not overfilled, as in this instance the collection partner will be unable to take the skip due to safety concerns.

If the skip is to be filled with scrap metal, it will be delivered and collected free of charge, as scrap metal carries its own value.

Skip Hire Network helps to support charity through two main avenues. Firstly, revenue from the service goes directly to support charities, including the Recycling Lives charity. Secondly, charities and social enterprises are encouraged as collection partners, providing them with opportunities to generate their own revenue through service provision and scrap metal sales.
