FOR OVER TEN YEARS, THE CD52 BANDIT has meant simple, reliable, and durable

pipeline pig passage detection in the worlds most demanding

environments.

Non-intrusive - The CD52 Bandit provides quick and easy non-intrusive pig passage detec on of any pig moving between 0.01 and 20 meters per second. Non-intrusive means less maintenance and corrosion, and no possibili es of pipeline leaks.

Quick and Easy Installa on - No hot-tapping required. The CD52 Bandit can be

installed in minutes by any fi eld technician.

Sensing Means of the CD52 Bandit consist of a set of patented, non-intrusive proprietary noise-

canceling antennas invented by CDI specifi cally for pig passage detec on. This antenna system gives the Bandit its

ability to reject nearby magne c noise and halt costly false-posi ve triggering. A small, safe, permanent magnet or ac ve transmi er installed on a pig is all it takes to put the Bandit to work!

Field Proven - We have been manufacturing our patented CD52 family of pig signalers for a decade. With thousands of systems installed around the globe, the CD52 family has a reliable performance record in burning deserts, frozen tundras, and every environment in between. Many of our customers are large oil and gas producers who rely upon the CD52 family of equipment to set valves, control pump sta ons, and communicate with SCADA systems.

Remote Signaling of a passage is easy with a built-in fl ashing LCD visual display and dry-contact relays. These normally-open or normally-closed relays may be used in conjunc on with exis ng SCADA systems to integrate the CD52-Bandit into a pipeline control and signaling network. An op onal array of four high-luminosity LEDs Can be seen over distances as great as 100 meters [328 ].

Op onal Topside Remote Passage Signaling to any surface vessel is simple and eff ec ve with our small, ba ery-powered acous c pinger. Each CD52-A30/A45 can represent a passage with its own pinger frequency. Simply lower the receiving acous c transducer over the side of your vessel and listen for the one-second pings. By default the CD52-A30 and CD52-A45 pig signalers can ping for a period of up to 36 hours.

Portable - At 35 lb [16 kg], the CD52-A30/A45 system is easily handled by divers, yet robust and durable enough to survive the rigors of deep-sea ROV deployment.

Ba ery Powered - The CD52-A30/A45 is fully powered by two D-Cell ba eries which provide a full year service life. Changing ba eries is as simple as unscrewing the face of the unit, removing the old ba eries, and inser ng two fresh ones.

TRAXALL 770/720 Mul -source Receivers

The TRAXALL 770/720 is CDIs major advance in state-of-the-art pipeline pig loca on and tracking. Built upon 20 years of tracking know-how and sophis cated Digital

Signal Processing (DSP) technology, the 770 tracks as many as seven diff erent transmi er frequencies simultaneously. (Our 720 model tracks two

frequencies.)

Pinpointer user interface technology allows for easy pig loca on to within inches without the need for tricky nulling procedures.

MFL passage detec on, pinpoin ng, and launch/receive verifi ca on of magne c-fl ux leakage inspec on tools is a breeze with TRAXALL 770s advanced permanent magnet tracking and loca ng capabili es. The MFL graphical interface shows familiar zero-crossing signals with full recording and passage monitoring.

High-speed GPS system is built in, allowing arbitrary points of interest to be waypointed and stored in memory

as GPS coordinates. Trackpoin ng records breadcrumb trails showing routes taken

to and from hard-to-fi nd loca ons.

Returning to a pigs waypoint loca on or retracing your path along a pipeline with trackpoints is a snap with TRAXALL 770s robust,

built-in Navigate-to-Waypoint capabili es.

Waypoint and trackpoints may also be downloaded and viewed with Google Maps

for desktop PC viewing of naviga on data. TRAXALLs GPS system even provides automa c clock se ng with high

precision and stability.

Bluetooth communica on allows remote viewing of the system from a vehicle in inclement weather.

CDI X-SERIES TRANSMITTERS are TRAXALL-compa ble electromagne c pipeline pig-tracking devises off ering both programmable frequency and power control through CDIs proprietary FieldLink wireless communica ons system.

Frequency Control allows the operator to confi gure the transmi er to one of TRAXALLs seven colorized frequencies, or the 22 Hz legacy

frequency for backward compa bility with CDIs CD42 receiver or compe ve receivers.

Power Control allows the operator to directly manage a trade-off between transmi er range

vs. ba ery life. For example, you can set output power to maximum for short runs/long range, or reduce output power for long runs/long ba ery life.

FieldLink is CDIs proprietary wireless communica ons network. Each X-Series

transmi er comes with a built-in radio frequency antenna. By connec ng a supplied

radio frequency USB key, any Windows PC or laptop can be used to confi gure a transmi er.

The CD47-C Time-based Benchmarker records the GPS me of a passing intelligent inspec on tool. This precision me, coupled with the physical pipeline loca on, is correlated with data recorded by the inspec on tool.

The result: major increased accuracy of smart pig feature loca on callouts.

An onboard Global Posi oning System (GPS) provides a synchronized tool passage me accuracy

guaranteed to be within 250 milliseconds over system ba ery life.

The CD47-C is the third genera on me-based benchmarker created by CDI in response to customer demands for accurate, reliable, and robust equipment that can be transported anywhere in the world and work out of the box in extreme heat and cold condi ons. The new CD47-C is smaller,

lighter, and easier to use than ever before!

With its ability to record passages of both transmi er-equipped and magne c (MFL)

inspec on tools without transmi ers, the CD47-C provides users with a comprehensive,

well-tested and fi eld-hardened system for their benchmarking requirements.

Pig run informa on is immediately accessed via built-in Bluetooth communica on and a mul -lingual (English, Spanish, or German) LCD. In addi on, 16 bright red LEDs visible from a distance of up to 300 [91 m] indicate passage.

The CD47-C is custom-molded ABS plas c with urethane protec ve bumpers and designed to cradle onto an exposed pipeline and stack for effi cient storage, transport, and shipping. System power is provided by two D-Cell alkaline ba eries which yield a seven-day opera onal life.

For underwater deployment, a Subsea Housing is available to contain and protect the CD47-C to a maximum depth of 492 [150 m]. A power access port permits opera on without disassembly. The housing frames inverted vee shape fi ts any pipeline diameter from 6 in. to 60 in. [152 to 1,524 mm] and can be fi ed with either Tee or Fishtail ROV handles.

The CD43 GeoEAR acous c amplifi er system allows a listener to hear extremely faint sounds at great distances using a geophone probe which is either inserted into the soil or placed in direct contact with the pipeline.

GeoEAR amplifi es the sound of an approaching pipeline pigs cups striking welds of a pipeline to an easily-discernible level. Under normal circumstances an approaching pig can be heard miles away.

CDI INLINE INSPECTION TOOL TRANSMITTERS are high-quality loca on and tracking devices specifi cally designed for magne c fl ux leakage (MFL),

ultrasonic, caliper tools, and other ILI vehicles.

CDI ILI TRANSMITTERS, like our standard CD42 Legacy transmi er product line, emit electromagne c fi elds at a frequency near 22Hz, which makes them safe and reliable for use in any environment and any pipeline product. However, instead of a pressure housing, our ILI transmi ers are designed for moun ng inside an ILI tool, and draw power from the tools ba eries.

CDI ILI TRANSMITTERS can either be all-in-one cylinders with fl ying leads (CD42-MPS Series) or their driver electronics may be

packaged separately from the coil for maximum use of available space (CD49 Series).

CDI ILI TRANSMITTER ON/OFF func ons and emi ed pulse pa erns are controlled via simple I/O signals; therefore, it is possible to use a transmi er

con nuously for AGM work, or SOS signaling only where it draws mere microamps during a run. Exis ng transmi er designs accept a voltage range of anywhere from 9-36VDC and have RMS current ranges from 36-638mA.
