The association “Social Development Center” (CDS) is a non-governmental, autonomous and apolitical organization, without patrimonial purpose.CDS proposed to run the following types of activities:Educational activities: training courses, continuing education courses, informational activities.
Our objectives are:Projects that regards social activitiesAttracting financing sources that support the proposed goals and objectivesPromoting the national culture and traditionsThe organization of round tables, conferences, symposiumsCollaborating with organizations and institutions of the same profile, locally, nationally and internationallyOther appropriate activities.
What are the activities and experience of the organisation in the areas relevant for this application?
*-”Youth in work” project implemented by CDS financed through the program Youth in action, action 1.3 Projects for democracy RO-13-E35-2013-R3-YouthinWork took place in the period January 27th – August 28th 2014.The general objectives of the project were to increase the degree of information and involvement of youngsters in the problems related to their integration in the labor market, in an open and dynamic partnership between organizations in Romania and Italy.*-The project entitled “The youngsters – active citizens for responsible consumption” was developed with the members of the Local Groups for Social Economics, as a result of the activities developed within the project, namely training sessions related to the topic of responsible consumption and work meetings designed in order to develop the project concept.The project entitled “The youngsters - active citizens for responsible consumption” has been developed in 5 cities in Romania: Arad, Iaşi, Sibiu, Odorheiu-Secuiesc and Timişoara. High school students, from the 9th-11th forms, have participated in this project.“The youngsters – active citizens for responsible consumption” is a project included in a portfolio of innovative projects from the field of social and solidary economics, developed through the involvement of the members of the Local Initiative Group in Iaşi, within the strategic project Models of good practice in the field of social inclusion (ID 64094). The project “The youngsters – active citizens for responsible consumption” has been implemented in Iaşi during the period March-May 2013 and has been addressed to a number of 300 high school students.*-The project 10 Media Events in 300 days is implemented by the Synergy Romania Association and is financed through the program Youth in Work, RO-12-E484-2012-R3.The Social Development Center organizes IT lectures – Web Programming and Design.*-“Innovative Systems for Work” ISW an ongoing project implemented by CDS, financed by the EUROPEAN SOCIAL FUND - Sectoral Operational Programme Human Resources Development 2007 – 2013, Priority axis 5, DMI 5.1 SOPHRD /127/5.1/G/128213
*-“Professional Training- The key for developing your carrier and equal acces in the labor market” SOPHRD /144/6.3/G/135227, an ongoing project financed by the EUROPEAN SOCIAL FUND - Sectoral Operational Programme Human Resources Development 2007 – 2013, Priority axis 6, DMI 6.3. The project is implemented by The Polytechnical University, Bucharest in collaboration with CDS.
