Instructions and Answer key

You will need: one copy of the Student A worksheet and one copy of the Student B worksheet for each pair of students

• Divide the class into two groups, A and B. Give a copy of Student A worksheet to students in group A, and a copy of Student B worksheet to those in group B.

• Students work in pairs or small groups to unjumble the questions and write them in the correct order in the table. Monitor and check word order.

• Put students into AB pairs to interview each other and record the main information under Details. (Early finishers can ask another question related to leisure.)

• When everybody has finished re-form new AB pairs, who tell each other about the person they interviewed.

• In open class students give brief feedback on what they found interesting or unusual.

• Alternatively, students could write a profile of the leisure interests of the student they interviewed, without writing the name. These profiles could be numbered and stuck around the class for the students to try to identify who’s who.
