The IPHI Project (High Intensity Proton Injector)
The project involves 3 french laboratories (+ CERN as of 2002):
CEA/DAPNIA for the proton source, LEBT and RFQ
IN2P3/INPO-Orsay for the beam diagnostics (as of 1997)
IN2P3/LPSC-Grenoble for the 3 MeV beam dump (as of 2003)

In 2008, beam chopping tests (HIPPI) will be done at Saclay.
The RFQ and Diagnostics will then be transferred to CERN.
