materials and technologies whose aim is to establish itself as a
recognized centre for basic as well as applied research.

CEITEC has been created to advance existing basic and applied research in South Moravia to reach new levels. Its purpose is not only to provide its researchers with the best equipment and new laboratory facilities, but also to engage in scientific discovery at a globally competitive level. By conducting research that bridges technological disciplines, CEITEC will see its greatest advances in enhancing the innovative environ-ment of the region.
