To mark the end of the native oyster season, the iconic restaurant invites you to enjoy an evening of dining and a live oyster shucking tutorial by the resident ‘master’. You will also receive your own ‘Oyster Passport’ and a ‘dressed oyster’ recipe card to take home. The highlight of the evening will, no doubt, be the three-course meal, which starts with half a dozen oysters per person (this will be a mix of native, dressed and hot varieties) paired with a glass of Champagne. The oysters will be followed by a main course of pan- seared cod, crushed garden pea and bacon croquettes, and a dessert of vanilla panna cotta with ginger roasted Yorkshire rhubarb. Each course will be served with a specially selected wine, followed by coffee and petit fours. Bentley’s Oyster Bar, found in a grand Victorian building just off Regent Street, dates back to 1916, and is famous for its fresh oysters and seafood. Overseen by Michelin- starred chef Richard Corrigan for the past ten years, it has long been one of London’s most fashionable dining spots. Attendees must be 18+ years of age.
