Happy Birthday to
All those born in August!
August Birthdays In astrology, those born between August 1–22 are Lions of Leo. Leos are natural-born leaders: confident, charismatic, creative, and warmhearted. Leos also use their humor and loyalty to bring people together to work for a common cause. Those born between August 23rd–31st are Virgo Virgins. Virgos are one of the most careful signs of the zodiac. They pay attention to detail, analyze problems, and plan so as to leave nothing to chance. These amazing listeners give excellent advice

Message from the Executive Director
What a busy month July was! There were many events to keep the fun going during this warm weather. This was highlighted by our trip to Port Dover. What a great day to see all the residents and team members get together for some fun. Also, thank you to all those who lined up your cars (AND TRUCKS!) for the car wash. It was a great success which helped to raise funds for the MEDA Nigeria Way campaign. Our August Resident Council meeting will see us nominating and voting for co-presidents. Late June we had a Walk to the Park for an afternoon of games and Watermelon. It was so much fun that we are bringing it back! Come join us on August 13th! We will also be having a hamburger BBQ on August 22nd. Come join us for that too! Some dates to keep in mind: We will be having a garage sale fundraiser on September 7th. It is to support our trip to Camp Trillium. That same day will be the Fall Fest Parade outing. The Camp Trillium trip is on September 25th. Reminder: With the increase in sun and warm weather, please ensure to apply sunscreen when you head outdoors. Orange sunscreen pumps are located at the front door, and the door leading out to the back patio. Also, ensure that you wear a hat and pack some water for hydration. If you bring in new clothes, please be sure to put the clothes in a labeled bag so that laundry staff can have the clothes properly labeled. This will ensure proper care is given to clothing and returned to their rightful owners. Also, please be mindful on the amount of clothing that you or your loved one has. Laundry is completed every day, so a vast amount of clothing is not required. Thank you for your cooperation. Have a great month! Danny Pereira
