It has been a privilege being your Headteacher and having the opportunity to work with such lovely parents, staff and children. I will miss you all but wish you the very best for the future ahead. I know that West Walton and The Windmill Primary Federation will continue to go from strength to strength. Thank you for all your support over the years for the school and for me. Graffitti in the park In recent years, the graffiti has been minimal and dealt with fairly quickly but this year it seems to be happening more regularly. The Council kindly asks that you report directly to the Police if you see any person vandalising or putting graffiti on the play equipment. Many thanks Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment On Tuesday the 20 th of June, West Walton, joined by several other schools, participated in an amazing OAE performance. All the children worked very hard to learn all the songs and perfected them. They didnt just do singing, they did body percussion and some of them joined in with the orchestra by playing instruments. The children performed in the afternoon and evening at the spectacular Corn Exchange. The afternoon was a practice-run where the children all stayed but in the evening the children had the option to stay or go back to school. Before the performance started, in the evening, the children got to go to McDonalds for their dinner. The performance was outstanding and everyone had a great time. All the parents loved it and were very impressed. Message from Ms Davis

It is with huge sadness that I write my very last piece for the West Walton family newsletter but it is also with immense joy as I look back over the last twelve years working with our amazing school.

Many thanks

Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment

On Tuesday the 20th of June, West Walton, joined by several other schools, participated in an amazing OAE performance. All the children worked very hard to learn all the songs and perfected them. They didn’t just do singing, they did body percussion and some of them joined in with the orchestra by playing instruments.
