Traveling around the world with the Growth and Fortune 25 you get to experience spectacular trips, exotic locations, and amazing cultures. A few years

ago, on one of our incredible journeys to the Hawaiian Islands, I learned the term “‘ohana,” a Hawaiian word for family. It was fitting that I learned the term on a trip with our company’s top leaders, as I have come to view our Associates from all over the world as my ‘ohana.

Through nearly 18 years with USANA, I’ve spent hours with them at meetings, presentations, and conventions; traveled the world with them on cruises and retreats; and, most importantly, come to know them as my friends. They come from different countries and cultures but all share the belief that USANA’s vision of true health and true wealth has changed their lives for the better.

Celebrating Success magazine highlights some of USANA’s most dedicated Associates —our Fortune 25 and Growth 25. USANA’s Fortune 25 includes our top income earners worldwide, while the Growth 25 includes Associates who have achieved the greatest growth in their business over the past year. Both groups contain highly enterprising leaders who play an important role with USANA.

In this magazine, you’ll read about people who have built the ultimate lifestyle full of travel and leisure, dream homes, and time spent as full-time parents and grandparents. You’ll also read about individuals who have overcome great obstacles, turned their lives around, and dared to take a chance at true health and true wealth. This magazine celebrates their stories, their lifestyles, and their unique visions of success.

As you read the amazing life stories in this magazine, I hope you will find your own motivation and decide that you too can make your dreams come true. In turn, you can take these stories and show others how they can achieve a healthy, prosperous, and happy future by becoming a part of the USANA ‘ohana.

Live well,

The Fortune 25 includes some of USANA’s most successful Associates. These enterprising individuals have worked diligently to become the top 25 income earners in the company. This diverse group has an incredible dedication to the USANA vision, an unwavering drive to succeed, and a true desire to attain true health and true wealth.

$85,000 is the average annual income for established, full-time USANA Associates. $23,300 is the average annual income for Associates who earn as little as one commission check a month. Total includes all earnings from the compensation plan, Leadership Bonus, and contests and incentives. Calculations based on earnings between February 2008 and January 2009. Figures should not be considered as guarantees or projections of actual earnings, which result only from consistent, successful sales efforts. To be considered in a rank’s earnings, Associates must have earned checks at a median rank for at least 16 weeks. According to results from an in-house survey taken between 2004 and 2006, the primary reason 17% of USANA independent business owners join the company is to improve their financial future. 21% of that group earns a check at least once a month. Of those whose primary reason is to earn enough to replace a full-time income, 41% have been Associates for at least one year and 56% are full-time Gold Directors and above. The number of Gold Directors and above who have maxed at least 1 Business Center during the year equals less than 1% of all Associates. Those earning as little as one check a month equal approximately 3% of all Associates. The average annual income for all 158,934 USANA Associates, including those who are brand new or who are not actively building a business, is $618.55, with nearly one in three earning a check. To date, USANA has more than 130 Million Dollar Club members.

There are a lot of miles between life as a carpet installer and being a 9-Star Diamond

Director and the 2009 Distributor of the Year. Jeremy Stansfield has sped through that journey. He certainly has the vehicles to accomplish such a feat. Jeremy possesses a stable full of Hummers, ATVs, snowmobiles, jet skis, boats, an RV, and a sizzling yellow Lamborghini—his reward for taking home the $250,000 top prize in last year’s Millionaire Challenge. But none of those would be parked in his garage without Jeremy’s real vehicle for success: USANA.

That vehicle took Jeremy from a man with big dreams to one of the most successful, recognizable faces in USANA. “People see me as a carpet installer who found USANA and suddenly built this big business,” he says. “The fact of the matter is that I’ve had big dreams for a long time. If people could just temporarily

experience the freedom a USANA business can provide, they would drop everything to focus on making the lifestyle of their dreams possible.”

With the help of USANA, Jeremy lives that dream lifestyle every day. He wakes up in a spectacular home comfortably nestled in the heart of Utah’s Rocky Mountains, surrounded by breathtaking views. There are the garages filled with things most only dream of. Most importantly, there’s the time freedom to enjoy it all with his two young daughters, who love spending time at the nearby lake, snow-skiing, taking trips in the RV, or traveling with their dad at a moment’s notice. With his USANA lifestyle, the travel opportunities to fun and exotic locations are endless. “You are treated like royalty on the first-class Fortune 25 leadership trips!” Jeremy states.

He shares the riches of his USANA success with others, as well. “Giving back to Children’s Hunger Fund is a

big part of my life!” he comments. Jeremy’s grandmother desperately needed a new car. She had always dreamed of a little red sports car. “The look on her face was priceless when I was able to make this dream a reality on Christmas morning for her!”

The outdoor-lover’s Mecca that surrounds Jeremy’s home is the perfect arena for letting friends and family enjoy the fruits of his hard work. “It’s not necessarily owning these items that brings me the most joy,” Jeremy says. “It’s about using them as tools to bring our family, friends, and prospects together.”

For Jeremy, another perk of USANA is the ability to positively affect the lives of others by helping them travel the road of their dreams. “None of us have any limits. We don’t,” he says. “If you reach down deep inside, you will discover you can accomplish whatever you want to accomplish, with USANA as your vehicle.”

In 1994, Collette Larsen, a single mother of five, faced a mountain of medical bills and desperately

needed to stay home to care for daughters Sharlie and Lexi, who were critically ill with Cystic Fibrosis (CF).

Collette searched for ways to gain optimal health for her family. The sterling reputation of USANA’s products finally got her attention. Collette soon realized it was important to include her children in her journey, and her son Zachary Ross eventually became her business partner.

Zak was in South America when his mother joined USANA. Upon returning to the States, his plans to concentrate on his education and become a Spanish teacher changed when he joined Collette on a trip to Australia and spent six months helping build her business there. “I got a crash-course,” he remembers. “What surprised me was I really had a knack for it!”

Zak and Collette each have a supportive family by their sides. Zak and wife, Kelli, are dedicated to creating memories with their four children. “I realize how fast the years are going by, and I see how quickly my children are growing up,” Zak states.

Zak and his 9-year-old daughter, Jaydn, spent 10 days working at an orphanage in Ecuador last spring, a trip neither will forget. “It was an amazing chance to grow and give back to children in need,” he recalls. “It was a chance to experience different cultures. Months later, Jaydn still talks about it.”

Another highlight was having his son Zachary accompany him on the USANA Mediterranean Celebration at Sea. “It was incredible to walk the streets of Rome with my son and focus on father-and-son time,” Zak states.

Zak spends quality time with each of his children, whether it is in their classrooms or at home. For Collette, it is one of the things that makes her the

most proud. “Zak gives so much. He is the greatest husband and father,” she says.

She is also proud of her 12 grandkids and adoring husband, Richard Mazey. The couple is dedicated to spending time together creating memories. In 2009, Collette and Ric spent eight days rafting the Colorado River and sleeping under the stars. “It was incredible,” she recalls. And that was just the beginning. Her next adventure will be joining Werner Berger on a quest to climb to the base camp at Mount Everest along with Zak, son Dax, and son-in-law Ryan.

The biggest mountain for Collette to climb is finding a cure to CF. Despite losing Lexi to the disease, Collette is determined to make “CF stand for ‘cure found.’ ” She concludes, “We always honor Lexi’s memory and are blessed to know that, despite what the doctors told us, Sharlie is living a healthy life.”

Over the course of their USANA career, Sophia Marcoux and Jacques Fiset have certainly

earned time and financial freedom, but they prefer to measure their success by the positive influence they have on people’s lives and by the synergy they have together as a couple and organization.

As two of the most well-known and respected Associates, Sophia and Jacques have been instrumental in building the Québec market, and their hard work has not gone unnoticed. They have contributed to the field and the company by frequently serving on the Independent Distributor Council. They were also awarded the Dr. Wentz Vision Award in 2003 and the President’s Award in 2009, two honors that continue to inspire them every day: “You work your business with passion and vision, but when you win awards like these, it fuels you for a lifetime. You are able to see a more global perspective. We see now the

impact we can have on people’s lives, not just locally but everywhere.”

It is that desire to transform people’s lives that drives Jacques and Sophia to live their own lives as best they can. “Working our business taught us how important it is to live our lives with integrity. But that’s how we want to live our lives, whether people are watching or not,” Jacques says.

Part of living with integrity includes being true to their partnership. Sophia and Jacques believe they wouldn’t be where they are today without each other. “We are two totally different people, but we complete each other. That’s why we work so well together,” Sophia explains. “We had to learn to work together, but we were willing to do that because we were committed to being a team.”

The Million Dollar Club members are deeply committed to each other, to USANA, and to their team, which has helped them build a strong USANA

organization. With more than 10 years behind them, they now hope to leverage their experience and expertise to benefit their team and continue growing “in a much smarter way.”

When they enrolled in USANA, Jacques and Sophia had no idea it would be one of the most positive changes of their lives. Sophia says, “We are extremely grateful for the amazing blessing of having known USANA and having made the effort to build this business in the midst of all the obstacles and circumstances of life. There truly are not many industries where you can build a business, work hard, have so many fun and memorable experiences, and expand your horizons. We are learning so much about life—people and cultures, business and finances, and leadership.” They have also learned that transformation, health, success, and abundance do not happen overnight. It is a matter of intention, action, and commitment. Their results are the proof. 13

Life is said to be full of obstacles. In the eyes of the pessimistic, hardship is a part of life that

no one can avoid. However to 11-Star Diamond Director Rita Hui, adversity or impediments in life are not necessarily sad or startling. To Rita, if you are confident enough you can turn any crises into an opportunity.

At the early age of 22, Rita began her career by starting her own fashion business and made her mark by running a sizable chain of business boutiques throughout Hong Kong. Rita was very successful until the financial crisis first stuck Asia. “Layoffs happened almost everywhere. Everyone was living under the circle of fear—the fear of becoming jobless, the fear of change,” Rita says. Instead of living in fear, Rita chose to make a change by starting a career with USANA. Rita had a bigger dream to accomplish with her life—

she wanted to change the lives of the people around her.

Rita soon realized that the road to true wealth begins with true health. “Health must take precedence over everything,” Rita believes. “I was assured of the quality of USANA’s products in providing a complete and balanced spectrum of beneficial nutrients, so I had no hesitation in joining USANA when it first launched in Hong Kong.” Rita explains.

With more than 10 years of network marketing experience to draw upon, this passionate entrepreneur has reached many significant milestones in her nine years with USANA. In 2003, Rita became a Million Dollar Club member and was the first Associate ever to reach the high rank of 7-Star Diamond Director. To mark her brilliant accomplishment, Rita was honored the President’s Award at USANA’s 2004 International Convention. Two

years later in 2006, Rita set another new bar for excellence by achieving the astounding level of 11-Star Diamond Director.

Thanks to USANA, Rita’s life isn’t always about business. Rita is now able to spend more time with friends and family and develop her personal interests. “I am so thankful that I am now able to manage my own time and enjoy life,” Rita says.

As a successful leader with team members across the globe, Rita believes that a generous heart is a wonderful tribute to great success. “It’s always easier to take and give, however, if money always comes before everything in your USANA business, you can hardly put yourself into the others’ shoes and work well with your companions. I’m thankful that USANA allows me to make new friends around the globe and live a fascinating and fulfilling life,” Rita concludes.

Like thousands of individuals throughout the world who have caught the USANA vision,

Vincent and Mable Chan saw an extremely exciting opportunity in USANA. In the years that have passed since making the fateful decision to become USANA Associates, the couple has experienced health, success, and financial freedom they never dreamt possible. As they now look back on all that they have accomplished, they also look forward with hope for their future.

The primary reason Vincent and Mable got involved with USANA was the high quality of the products. As a pharmacist, Vincent was putting in backbreaking hours for minimal profit at his self-owned pharmacy. He was so dedicated to his work, in fact, that he worked until midnight the night before his and Mable’s wedding! “I gradually noticed that my health was declining because of all the time I was spending

at the drugstore,” he recalls. “When I was young, I could handle 80 hours a week, but when I got to a certain age, I simply couldn’t handle spending that much time at work.” It was then that the Chans recognized they had to make a change in their lives. “I realized that I needed to help myself,” Vincent says, “and that is when I ran into USANA. I believe that it has given me a second chance at allowing me to enjoy life.”

Because of the tremendous impact that USANA made in their lives, Mable and Vincent wanted nothing more than to share the gift they had been given with others. Before long, their small business venture began to grow, and it continued growing into what it is today—a thriving international enterprise. “USANA really changed our lifestyle,” Mable says. “Now we have not only health, but the time freedom to do the things we enjoy.”

One thing the Chans especially enjoy is traveling. In 2006, the couple and their three children, Adrian, Brian, and Kimberly, spent an entire month traveling through Malaysia, China, and Hong Kong. When they are not traveling around the world building their business, Vincent and Mable often play tennis together and spend many afternoons having Chinese tea. The Chans also enjoy playing badminton and basketball as a family.

As they look back over the past 12 years of their life, Mable and Vincent are able to see what a difference USANA has made. “We are living a healthy lifestyle and finding much joy in spreading our message of health with individuals around the globe,” Vincent concludes. “Quite simply, USANA has changed our lives forever. Partnered with this wonderful company, Mable and I have experienced the blessings of true health and true wealth.”

With a simple trip to the pharmacy, Connie Yao’s life would change

forever. After filling a prescription, Connie began a conversation with her pharmacist Vincent Chan about the best way to maintain optimal health. He recommended she try USANA supplements to see if they could benefit her in any way. “They did,” Connie states, “and after experiencing these results, I became interested in sharing the products with other people, including my husband to be, Jim Barabe.”

When Connie first approached Jim, he admits, “I was more interested in Connie than anything else.” The couple soon fell in love and was married in April 1999. Jim remarks, “I fell in love with Connie first, and soon after I fell in love with the products, the company, and Dr. Wentz’ vision.”

Now, the 4-Star Diamond Directors are able to enjoy many luxuries that they

never could have imagined before. “Both our lifestyle and health have improved remarkably,” Connie notes. “We live in a beautiful home, drive better cars, travel more often, and spend more time with family and friends. Jim was able to retire early, and we really do enjoy conducting most of our USANA business from the comfort of our own home.”

Connie and Jim are not the only ones who enjoy the benefits of their success. Connie says, “Earning more income has made it possible for us to donate to more charities, help more people improve the quality of their lives, and give more meaning and purpose to our own lives.”

The desire to help others extends to helping the Associates in their downline. “The next step for us in our USANA business is to help other Associates develop and advance to the next level in their businesses,” they remark. “We also encourage others

to become Platinum PaceSetters, which we believe is a tremendous enhancement to the compensation plan. Moreover, we plan to travel to different areas of the globe where we have business partners in order to assist them in any way that we can.”

Though Connie and Jim may had never foreseen where USANA would take them, they now know where they are going. “When we started our business, we never imagined that we would become as successful as we are now. The key for us was simply to lead by example in our USANA business efforts.” They add, “The path to success has been a pleasant and rewarding journey, and we still have a long way to go. We are just as motivated and inspired as ever, and we love the company and the USANA family members in it.”

After experiencing the energy and excitement of the 2004 International Convention in

Salt Lake City, Tang Jung Liu and Hsiu Jou Pan returned to their home in Taiwan motivated to build a highly successful USANA business. One short year later, the new Diamond Directors had accomplished their goal of success and more, having made history by becoming the first Associates from Taiwan to achieve the prestigious Fortune 25 ranking within the company.

This energetic couple was not new to the challenge of network marketing when they joined USANA. In fact, they met while working as distributors for another Taiwanese direct selling company. “After leaving the army, I saw the network marketing industry as a new horizon for achieving financial freedom,” Tang Jung remembers. And Hsiu Jou, who was the sole breadwinner for her family at the

time, was also interested in the extra stream of income she could earn in the industry.

While they were grateful that the company had brought them together, Tang Jung and Hsiu Jou were dissatisfied with the future prospects that the company could offer. So, they began looking for something more. They found what they were searching for when USANA opened for business in Taiwan in 2002. “We had hoped to find an international company with a strong research background, quality products, and a fair and lucrative compensation plan,” Tang Jung explains. “USANA was the answer.”

Tang Jung and Hsiu Jou were also inspired by Dr. Wentz’ vision of a world free from pain and suffering. Today they strive to share that vision of health and freedom with everyone they know, because they have experienced firsthand the quality of life that USANA can offer. “We believe USANA has the

best products and compensation plan in the industry,” Tang Jung says.

Together, Tang Jung and Hsiu Jou have trained many of USANA’s top-ranking Associates in Taiwan through duplication and teamwork within their thriving organization. “It’s a challenge when you have to persuade people from all walks of life to duplicate your method,” Tang Jung explains. “But the results we have achieved speak for the way in which network marketing works. My formula for success lies in simplicity.”

Adhering to their formula for success, Tang Jung and Hsiu Jou have founded the largest and most dynamic USANA organization in Taiwan. Having realized the life of their dreams through USANA, they are looking forward to achieving even greater goals in the future. Most importantly, they hope to continue helping people in their home country and around the world on the road to true health and true wealth.

As a professional pharmacist with a strong conviction in the potency of medicine, Alan To

was at the height of a career he loved. Having trained in the medical field for many years, Alan strongly believed that medicine was the only way to maintain health. That is until he found out how high his cholesterol level had reached.

The sudden turn of his health combined with the death of his father, made Alan realize that medicine was not a catchall to improve someone’s health. “Medicine has a dramatic effect on healing symptoms; however, it brings along with it some other possible devastating and unexpected side effects.” Alan began to doubt if medicine was the single solution to improve one’s health. Then he was introduced to USANA. “Before joining USANA, my wife, Queen, and I were no different from office Joes and Janes—our confidence was low and so

were our spirits,” Alan says. “However, through USANA, we were able to get to know our strengths and work to build our esteem and confidence from the inside out.”

Being 5-Star Diamond Directors with team members from around the globe, Queen and Alan weren’t instantly successful in their business and had to go through several rough patches before they could really excel. They explain, “Network marketing literally requires feats of effort to maintain strong relationships with customers. At the very beginning, we thought network marketing was going to be an easy business, so we went up to everyone just blabbering, and the more we blabbered the more our clients ran away. We didn’t realize that we were lacking the vision in USANA, so there was an urgent need to readjust our perspectives and values.”

After evaluating their prospecting methods, Alan realized that they

should make a genuine change in the way they managed their USANA business. And before long, Queen and Alan began to enjoy their first taste of success. “USANA is a business which highly emphasizes teamwork and cooperation. Instead of focusing on our own business growth, we spend more time in nurturing our downline and assisting them in jumping higher with their business,” Queen says.

In the eyes of this couple, nothing means more to them in their business than helping others reach their goals the way they have. “Life without a purpose is like an aircraft flying high in the sky without a skilled captain. In USANA, we are given the most wondrous business opportunities and a way to fulfill our lifelong dreams. I’m glad that we can share together the mission of USANA and work together with our highly motivated leaders to share health and freedom,” Alan concludes.

For many, retirement is a time to slow down and take time to enjoy life. For Annette and Victor

Que, retirement has been time to put on a new set of tires and continue on their life’s journey at full speed while building their USANA business.

Though Annette and Victor had no prior experience in network marketing, they have become two of USANA’s most prominent leaders, achieving Million Dollar Club, Fortune 25, and Growth 25 member status, as well as being recognized as Top Associate Enrollers, Top PaceSetter Creators, and Top Income Earners. They also won two Porsche Boxters in addition to many other prizes and trophies.

In addition, Annette and Victor are proud to be serving a third term as elected executive members of the US/Canada IDC. They continue to work hard to represent the USANA family and are very proud of USANA’s opening in the Philippines. “The

growth we have seen proves once again that Dr. Myron Wentz’ vision is not just for a selected few but is for the whole world.”

Before discovering USANA, Victor owned an electronics store, a karaoke business, and a recording studio. Annette had earned three bachelor’s degrees and worked in the banking industry. When introduced to Sensé, Annette was so amazed by the quality that she signed up immediately.

Though there are many ways to make money, they believe USANA can provide an extra stream of income to do the “extra things”. “We can pick up our bags anytime and travel wherever and whenever we want,” they say. “We no longer have to worry about who’s going to look after Victor’s stores or whether Annette’s boss is going to approve her extra vacation leave.”

This year, the Ques have enjoyed traveling for business and pleasure, including numerous trips to the

Philippines. In June they spent time sightseeing and shopping in the Mediterranean on the Celebration at Sea cruise. Most recently, they spent time relaxing and reconnecting with the Fortune 25 group in Kauai, Hawaii.

Time was also spent with family as Annette and Victor welcomed their third grandchild, Audrey Joy, joining brother, Isaiah Clark, and sister, Charlotte Love. They were able to visit their son, Kendrick, and grandchildren in California to celebrate Love’s birthday at Disneyland.

Though 2009 was another hectic year for Annette and Victor, they wouldn’t have it any other way. “The beauty of USANA is that we can combine dining, working, traveling, and shopping with building our business. The biggest satisfaction we experience, however, is when we see friends and Associates find true health and wealth through the vision of Dr. Wentz.”

Bryan and Monica Penrod have achieved many of their goals and dreams. They have also

inspired and led multitudes of others toward realizing their own goals in the areas of finances, optimized health, and free time to truly enjoy and maximize their personal gifts and resources. And the Penrods’ vision about what the future can hold has them more energized and excited than ever.

Nearly 12 years ago, things were much different. Both were struggling with personal debt and facing another year of working at low-paying, dead-end jobs. Searching for a solution, Bryan concluded that network marketing offered the perfect vehicle. Bryan’s search for a company ended when he was introduced to USANA. “I liked the fact that USANA offered the finest products available on the market and that people were going to use them every day. I also saw the potential

of a lucrative and fair compensation plan for everyone involved,” he recalls. By daring to strive toward entrepreneurship on a part-time basis, Bryan and Monica were able to “fire their bosses” within a year and leave behind the false sense of security most employers offer today.

The Penrods now enjoy a life of abundance. They’ve built a beautiful new home with a home office, media room, and courtyard containing an outdoor fireplace. Whether taking breathtaking cruises, escaping to foreign resorts, or leaving for quick weekend getaways, the Penrods have made many wonderful memories traveling together with family and friends.

Bryan and Monica’s flexible schedule leaves plenty of time for enjoying the things they love to do. “To have the freedom to focus on things that are more important to us than just making money, like spending time

with our children, has made all of our hard work worth the effort,” Monica explains.

The Penrods feel tremendously blessed to be able to help others. They passionately promote and support Children’s Hunger Fund, as well as several Christian organizations that are making significant impacts in others’ lives. “We enjoy spending time volunteering for causes as a family,” Monica says.

While Bryan and Monica have achieved great success with their business, they have no plans on maintaining the status quo. Bryan observes, “I’ve never seen a better time to capitalize on the convergence of several incredible, worldwide trends that are all found in the USANA opportunity.”

They conclude, “We really appreciate that we can still wake up today just as excited as when we were brand new. We look forward to creating new memories and rewarding relationships!”

Bryan and Layda Morris marvel at how their lives are built on dreams—the dreams they set

for themselves and the dreams they have helped so many members of their team fulfill. Life for this extraordinary pair wasn’t always so picturesque, though.

Bryan once owned a successful car dealership but was “just miserable.” He says, “I was one of the biggest used car dealers in the area, but there is just no future in that kind of business.” When the economy took a downturn, Bryan lost everything, including his business. So he spent his newfound spare time looking for a way to finally achieve his dreams of financial security and time freedom.

Meanwhile, Layda was also looking for a new life. She was convinced that she should leave her home in Mexico for the United States because she felt there was something waiting for her there, something she could

take home to her family and friends. USANA was an answer to her prayers. “People told me that I was crazy, but I learned to listen to my internal voice,” Layda says.

As fate would have it, the two individually signed up with USANA and fell in love with the company. A short while later, they met and fell in love with each other. The rest is USANA history.

USANA has certainly made an impact on the Morrises’ lives. The couple now has the financial resources and time to indulge in many of their hobbies. The two spend ample time with Diamond (named for Diamond Directors) and Rockstar—their 2-year-old Doberman Pinscher and 1-year-old Chiweenie—they love driving around in their top-of-the-line vehicles: a Dodge Viper and two Hummer H2s. Bryan enjoys tennis, but his favorite activity is spending time on his 36-foot Baja Outlaw cigarette boat with twin 500

engines. “Ever since childhood I have loved the water,” he says. “It is my source of inspiration. That is what I love about San Antonio—we are just 30 minutes from freshwater lakes and two-and-a-half hours from the Texas coast.”

USANA gives this couple another type of freedom that they both enjoy—the ability to travel and build their business. “You can achieve success with USANA all over the world,” Bryan explains. This is an added perk for Layda, who loves to travel and wants to see the world. “I now have more time to enjoy my life. I have time to travel, shop, study English, and see friends when they visit me in the U.S.,” she says.

Whether they are building their business, traveling with their friends, or enjoying their hard-earned time freedom, Bryan and Layda are living the life they have always dreamed of.

After many years working as an oil refinery operator, Rick Young learned the company

he worked for was downsizing and shutting down. Although disappointed, Rick had known not to keep all his eggs in one basket. Two years prior, he and his wife, Terri, opened three fast food franchises, making it possible for their family to stay in their hometown, unlike many of the other refinery workers.

Financially the couple was doing well, but Rick’s new responsibilities kept him on the road constantly, so they had little time together. When a persistent friend introduced Rick and Terri to the USANA opportunity, they reluctantly agreed to attend a presentation with the intention of saying, “We’ve looked at it. We’re not interested. Now leave us alone.” However, once they heard about USANA, they knew it held the answer to accomplishing their dreams.

Rick and Terri have grown their business tremendously over the years, and they know they couldn’t have done it without a strong sense of teamwork. “If your business is not growing the way you want, it’s because you haven’t figured out that it’s not about you—it’s about others, reaching out and making a difference in their lives,” Rick explains. “As soon as you lose yourself in this work, that’s when you will truly find yourself.”

The Fortune 25 members believe their USANA business has helped them achieve the best life has to offer. Their 5,500-square-foot Utah home sits on 17 acres and is the embodiment of idyllic rural living, from the long front porch overlooking a sloping lawn to the rope swing hanging over the family pond. Rick and Terri are living the dream and loving it. “Most important is my family,” Rick emphasizes. “My goal is to see them be the best they can be.”

The Youngs enjoy doing anything outdoors. “I love it out here,” Rick says. “There’s always so much to do.” Constantly surrounded by recreational opportunities, the family can often be found horseback riding, four wheeling, jet skiing, boating, or paintballing. They also own a 450-acre ranch about 10 minutes from their home that borders a lake. Their successful business has allowed Rick to follow his passion of turning the ranch into a unique place for gathering together with family or hosting youth conferences. Complete with roads and camping facilities, guests who stay at the ranch can enjoy challenge courses, repelling, swimming, archery, and much more.

Years of hard work combined with determination and a will to succeed have led the Youngs to appreciate every opportunity that comes their way. “Terri and I don’t have to look any further,” Rick concludes. “Our dreams have come true.”

As a 5-Star Diamond Director, Million Dollar Club member, and two-time President’s

Award winner, Lynn Allen-Johnson has experienced great success as a USANA Associate and recognized leader. She had planned on taking some time to enjoy the benefits of her success. She bought a condo with her husband, Phil, in New Smyrna Beach and had just planned to kick back a little bit. But as Lynn watched the economy take a toll on people, it inspired her. “Being part of the solution is what I have a passion for,” Lynn shares. And that passion took her from her home in Florida to the other side of the world.

When USANA opened in the Philippines in 2009, Lynn was determined to go, give, and help new Associates as they built their own businesses and their own dreams. She didn’t expect, however, that the experience would prove to be one of the most inspiring

of her career thus far. “Going there changed me enormously as a person,” she states.

Lynn learned many lessons, and when she returned she felt rejuvenated and excited to share this amazing experience. “I came back to the States on fire!” she exclaims. “I came back with this whole different perspective. Working with people in the Philippines really showed me a whole new level of what someone who wants to do well in this business looks like and the dedication and drive that it takes to create success.”

As she enters another year in her business, Lynn hopes the next year is filled with wonderful adventures as well as numerous memories created with Phil and their loved ones. Lynn especially enjoys relaxing on her new pontoon boat she has appropriately named “USANA 5-Star Diamond.”

Lynn also manages to pursue another passion—writing—and has authored

two books: Getting Out of Your Own Way as well as The Power of Vision. “Getting Out of Your Own Way is really about my USANA journey,” Lynn shares. “As for The Power of Vision, it is a book that is meant to help people dig deep, dream again, and create their own vision. You have to have something you are fighting for.”

Lynn’s dreams are definitely coming to fruition as she continues to watch her business grow. One of the greatest blessings is having the chance to work side by side with a family she loves and adores. “I am working with my family and nothing feels better than that,” she says proudly. “The idea of all of us working together? I love it.”

With a stellar business to her name, Lynn admits it can be tricky balancing work and family, but she knows that it can happen. “You have to work smart and hard to keep a balance in life. It is challenging, but it is possible,” she shares.

Anyone who has talked to Wen Chi Wu knows he is passionate about his USANA business.

Trained as an anesthesiologist, Wen Chi has worked in the medical community for more than 30 years and built his USANA business based on what he has learned.

In his efforts to merely help out a friend interested in American companies, Wen Chi researched USANA and learned that some of the company’s products are included in the Physicians’ Desk Reference (PDR). A firm believer in the PDR, Wen Chi decided USANA deserved a closer look. He liked what he found.

Today, Wen Chi builds a thriving USANA business on top of his work as an anesthesiologist. “I work very hard. I finish my work at the hospital at about 2 p.m. Then, I go home and work for five or six hours with USANA. On the weekends, I travel quite a bit to help my downline,” he explains.

For Wen Chi, all of the hard work is worth it. “I am going to retire with this company. It really is the best company I could ever find.”

When not working, Wen Chi likes to research preventative medicine, play ping-pong, and see the world with his wife, Zang Houng. The couple has had the luxury of journeying all over the world to places such as Italy, Japan, Ireland, Spain, Holland, and the Bahamas. “We love to travel,” Zang Houng says. “We’ve been so fortunate to have had the financial opportunity to see the world together as a family.”

Family is a huge priority for the Wus. As the parents of three highly successful children and grandparents of two beautiful, healthy babies, they spend as much time as they can nurturing their quickly growing family. “All of our children are married and independent,” Wen Chi says, “and I simply could not be more proud of them.”

Having the time and financial resources to fully pursue his interests would not be possible without the success of his USANA business. And ultimately, that success is a result of his strong sense of teamwork. “I keep looking for good leaders, and we work as a team,” he says. “I train them so they all can make money too, which will in turn help me.”

Wen Chi has also built his business by promoting USANA to fellow medical professionals. In fact, many of the doctors Wen Chi has spoken to now recommend USANA to their patients. “I plan to get more doctors involved, because the products really can help their business.”

Wen Chi credits the support of USANA for much of his success. “I cannot do it alone, not without all the advantages the company provides,” he explains. “I appreciate Dr. Wentz for this good company and great product.”

Lyndon Redman and Marie-France Morin arrived where they are today by following very different

paths. Lyndon worked in a variety of managerial positions, including owning a hotel, and was looking for a way to make supplemental income. “At first, I thought if I made $400 extra a week, I could play more golf,” Lyndon says. Marie-France worked in a few different industries before becoming the Director of Canadian Field Development at USANA’s corporate office. In working directly with USANA Associates for five years, she saw “the potential of having a home-based business.” After becoming engaged to Lyndon in 2006, she resigned her position and became a USANA Associate herself.

Now, the two stand at the helm of an internationally booming business. Their newly renovated 5,200-square-foot custom home overlooks beautiful Lake Tahoe. It is primarily from here that they manage their business and

their family. “One of the greatest things is that I can be at home, on a weekday afternoon, spending time with my daughter,” Marie-France says. “The freedom this business gives us—to do the things that we want to do for ourselves and our family—is very empowering.”

Those things include skiing, sailing, and taking part in culinary classes. The couple also travels extensively. Apart from voyaging to places such as Europe and Asia, Lyndon and Marie-France frequently visit Canada to spend time with family and work with their growing Canadian team. In addition, they currently split their time between Lake Tahoe and the Bay Area, where the couple’s 3-year-old daughter, Gabriella, is attending a reputable international private school to build upon the unique language education she receives at home. Marie-France explains, “Lyndon speaks to her in English while I speak to her

in French. We also have a part-time nanny who only speaks Spanish to her.”

Marie-France earned an MBA after several years of studying. “I am glad I earned my degree, but I tell people that becoming an Associate with USANA is like earning a self-taught MBA. All of the basics of how to build a successful business you can learn here.”

The key to this couple’s success is found in one of Lyndon’s favorite quotes: “Whoever talks to the most people wins!” Marie-France remarks, “We make it a point to meet new people and make friends wherever we go. We go to networking events or volunteer and just ask people about themselves. We take the time to engage in meaningful conversations all day, every day. It is just that simple. If you work hard and speak to the people around you about what USANA can do for them, you will be successful too!”

After an unforgettable 11 years as USANA Associates and almost 20 years in the network

marketing industry, Amy Shen and her son, Bob Lin, have never regretted their choice to join the USANA family. “Being with these incredible people every day is the greatest happiness I could find, because they are the most positive people that you could share your life with. It’s like your family,” Bob says.

Amy and Bob believe that if it weren’t for the constant support and encouragement of their upline, downline, and crossline across Australia, they never would have been able to achieve their incredible success with USANA. “There have been many ups and downs in our team, but we had a clear goal, a goal to win. We have never given up on our dream to succeed,” Amy says. The successful business partners were also inspired by the story of USANA’s founder. “The

best part of joining such a wonderful company is meeting incredible people like Dr. Myron Wentz, whose dream and vision have changed our family’s life and personal health,” they say.

Amy explains that USANA has helped her develop leadership and communication skills, which are invaluable for building a network marketing business. “In this industry, we are connecting with people every day, so effective communication has become a crucial factor in building a solid network,” she says. “The best strategy for long-term success is to truly care about your team. We must learn to make a connection with all of our new Associates, because everyone has a key talent that we can learn from.”

That caring attitude has helped Bob and Amy focus on helping their team succeed. “It has always been our dream to win, not only to win for ourselves but also to help our team

win. Without them, nothing would be possible,” Bob says.

“USANA has totally changed my personal life from the role of a normal woman, mother, wife, and grandmother, to a professional USANA businesswoman,” Amy adds. “My 11 years with USANA have been about challenging myself, to go beyond myself and improve my leadership skills.”

Amy credits her entire family, including her husband, Xian, and Bob’s wife, Mary Ma, with helping them reach such a high level of success. She feels especially fortunate to get to work with them every day to achieve their goals. “USANA has given me the ability to work with my family. We are able to work together towards our dreams,” she says. “The key for my success is my family working together as a whole.”

Fifteen years ago, Susanne and John Cunningham were just a typical couple, raising three

young children and striving to make ends meet. John went to work every day at his corporate job while Susanne braved the self-employment arena. When they were introduced to USANA, they soon recognized two great benefits of the business: First, they saw how the products could improve the health and well-being of those around them. Second, they thought that the USANA business model could be an effective way to earn the residual income that could make a difference for their future. Today, at the head of a successful international home-based business, they are recognized again as one of the top income earners of the year.

Over the years, the Cunninghams have truly been able to enjoy some of the great benefits that USANA has to offer. “Travel is a passion of mine. I

have been seeing the world—Egypt, Peru, Switzerland, England, Ireland, and cities in the U.S. and Canada,” Susanne says. “John and I love to travel on the USANA trips and relax by the ocean and take long walks on the beach. This is something we never could have imagined doing with a traditional job.”

The attitude that the Cunninghams have about their USANA business is anything but traditional. Susanne notes, “When people ask if I do this for work or for pleasure, I tell them that it is always a pleasure. My work is my play. It is something that I choose to do, not what I have to do. Experiencing personal growth and contributing to the growth of others is a priceless reward.”

The Cunninghams are very proud of their three sons, who are each furthering their education for their personal passions. USANA products are part of their everyday life as well.

John and Susanne believe that the business experience and lifestyle the boys have grown up with has helped give them confidence to dream and go for their goals. They all share a strong work ethic, love to travel, have fun, and spend time with family and friends.

John explains how he and Susanne have achieved so much. “Our success is a combination of hard work, teamwork, and friendships. We believe in people often more than they believe in themselves in the beginning. This business is a vehicle to achieve dreams and goals, all the while making a difference in others’ lives.”

So, what’s next for the Cunningham family? “We are going to continue doing what we do,” they explain. “We treat our business no differently today than we did at the beginning—we take it seriously and have fun doing it! There are opportunities all around us; we just have to be open to them.”

Before Dr. Paige and Daniel Hunter’s USANA business began taking shape, they outlined

three points for success: living a life free of debt, creating better health, and helping others do the same. As Paige and Daniel live out their definition of success, they gratefully acknowledge USANA as the gift to help even more people. They believe their involvement with USANA has been like “throwing a pebble in the pond with positive, unending ripple effects.”

Building their business has meant hard work and dedication, but perhaps more than that, the Spring Branch, Texas, couple found faith has played a vital role in helping them achieve their dreams. “We are learning with USANA that faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. In our first year, we placed it in our hearts to be free to live out our God-given destiny. Although we could not always see it, we believed

that with good mentoring and our choice to undergo personal growth and assume leadership responsibility in helping team members do the same, our invisible goals would eventually become visible. This faith has taken us to our dreams and is now creating new ones.”

The 2-Star Diamond Directors enjoy spending their time freedom at home on their peaceful ranch. While it’s not all rest and relaxation, the Hunters set aside time to do things they enjoy, whether it’s spending time with their horses, tending to their family of goats, or spending “family time” with USANA Associates throughout the world.

The couple acknowledges USANA for also having served as the financial springboard for other passions. They enjoy international travel to expand their cultural horizons. Together they work to help Children’s Hunger Fund reach its potential. And they appreciate the opportunity to expand Daniel’s

horse breeding business and Paige’s goat business.

Taking a leap of faith, the Hunters joined USANA in 2000 believing that it could help create the lifestyle and sense of peace they craved. Judging by their relaxing country home and their ability to spend time in activities they enjoy, USANA has helped make their vision a reality. The business has also provided the Hunters the resources to further give back and serve in their community. “Having a profitable business allows us to make a real difference in the world,” Daniel says.

The Hunters find great satisfaction in seeing people’s lives transform from mediocre health and finances to extraordinary health and finances. They continuously revel in teaching entrepreneurial skills so others may also achieve what Paige and Daniel personally consider to be their definition of success.

In the eight years that Steven Chen has been involved with USANA, his life has been a whirlwind of

excitement and success. “During my time with USANA, my personal life has totally changed for the better,” he says. “To see the energy of my parents and family improve so greatly has been a blessing. We have been able to focus more time on all of our family and friends. USANA has given us the wealth and freedom to enjoy our lives together.”

Since joining USANA and learning about the company and its products, Steven now better understands Dr. Wentz’ vision of true health and true wealth. Steven has now established goals for his life that reflect this vision.

“Once I decide on a goal, I work hard to achieve it,” he says. “While building my USANA business, I keep improving my personal skills by reading more books and attending some life-inspiring training courses, including

those by Anthony Robbins and Paul Zane Pilzer.”

Steven believes that the key to success in the network marketing business is teamwork and cooperation, because without these key ingredients a USANA business won’t have the direction it needs. “It’s important to develop the leader’s potential and let them clearly understand USANA’s vision,” Steven says. “Nothing but an attractive, valuable, and visionary perspective can drive a USANA business to success. When the vision is clear, we know where to go and how to teach more and more people how to enjoy true health and true wealth. This is how to take advantage of the USANA opportunity.”

And Steven has found that setting clear and attainable goals is the best way to take advantage of all that USANA has had to offer. “The achievements depend on the goals you set up—the more ideals you have the more

you achieve. As a leader I always tell my downlines about my passion, ambitions, and possibilities, instead of the difficulties. As a consequence my downlines are able to establish their own goals using their passions and ambitions,” Steven says.

As a great team leader, Steven always trains people using his own life as an example, letting his success inspire them. As a result, he believes his influence will expand beyond the people he comes into contact with. “Success will come from doing all the minor things well. If you do that, the big things will take care of themselves,” he concludes.

One thing Conchita Vargas Lugo has thought about often throughout her life is

that the world is in need of leaders who have an impact on people by being an example of service and devotion. When she met Dr. Wentz in 2003, she found such a person. And today, Conchita’s lifestyle is largely based on trying to be that type of person herself.

Although always focused on her growth as a human being, Conchita admits that her priority is taking care of the people around her. With all the recognition she has received, the money she has earned, and the incredible lifestyle she is living, many people would say that life couldn’t get any better. But there is a large part of this woman that realizes there is so much more to life than the things she is grateful to have. And a big part of that is giving back.

As a former educator, Conchita worries about the welfare of children. “There

are so many kids living on the streets in México, and they are so defenseless,” she says. “One of my goals has always been to help these street children. And luckily I’ve been able to do that in many different ways throughout my life.” And now with USANA as her pillar, she has the resources to help support more and more people.

When Conchita isn’t working on one of her charity projects, prospecting, or helping a fellow member of her team give a presentation, she can most likely be found relaxing at home.

Sitting in the corner of her favorite room in the house is Conchita’s black, 122-year-old Rönisch piano, which she hopes one day to learn to play. “I always wanted to play the piano, and now I have the opportunity to learn how,” she says.

“My life is very simple, the Lord has taken me in his hands. Thanks to him I’ve been able to accomplish all this,”

she admits. “I love to read and just enjoy being in my house. My whole life I couldn’t be in my house because I was working 12-hour days. I always wanted to enjoy my home, and now I can.”

Her confidence in herself, her successful and always-growing business, and the people with whom she gets to associate day in and day out, add up to one thing for Conchita: peace. “That is how I see my life now,” she states. And living in a beautiful home in Puebla, México, surrounded by a forest of trees that makes her home her “haven of peace and tranquility” adds to the calmness of her life. “This home and this life give me peace, which, to me, is the most important thing in the world.”

Phil and Penny Kirk can’t tell the future. It wasn’t a crystal-ball glimpse of a bloated housing

bubble poised to pop that kept the 1-Star Diamond couple from buying a house. “I wish we could say that we had this all figured out in 1996. And it looks like that,” Phil says. “But it’s not true.”

What the Kirks did have all figured out was that they wanted ultimate flexibility, the means to live life unchained. “There are beautiful homes all over the world that are available for lease,” Penny says with a chuckle. And over the past 13 years they’ve lived in nine of those, in cities from New Mexico to Maine. The Kirks latest landing spot is Scottsdale, Arizona. But, where these Fortune 25 members seek shelter isn’t important. “We’re adventurers and explorers—on foot or on the ocean,” Phil explains. “We want to go to the far corners of the world, not be tied down.” Their USANA business

travels with them to those corners. Phil recalls a remote presentation he gave while he was in India. “That is the beauty of this business,” he says.

The question is which corner will Phil and Penny be exploring next? The Kirks say they will be joining Werner Berger—who they met in Ireland on the 2008 Fortune 25 trip—on a trek to the base camp on Mt. Everest. They also plan on extending their stay to join a friend in Katmandu. Ultimate flexibility.

They won’t be alone in their Everest adventure. Penny’s mother, Edna Northrup—an 84-year-old Gold Director—will be accompanying them. “We can do that, and she can do that,” Penny says about making the trip up the world’s tallest peak.

It’s no coincidence that family will be a part of this adventure. The Kirks’ choice to start a USANA business had a ripple effect on the lives of their

entire family. Penny says the result USANA has had is staggering. Along with Edna, Phil’s 92-year-old mother is able to maintain her independence because of the quality of health she has sustained with the help of USANA® products. And then there are the financial benefits. “Everybody’s trying to sell insurance policies for long-term care,” Penny says. “To get a USANA business set up in a family is the best possible long-term care that you can get.” Phil adds, “It’s the health care policy that pays you.”

USANA keeps paying off for the Kirks, giving them the health, the income, the ultimate flexibility to live their lives to the fullest. “You have the means and the health,” Phil says. “Those two things put together are pretty remarkable in today’s world.”

Having worked as a surgeon for more than 30 years, Bin Yang neither took nutritional

supplements nor believed in any product delivered through a network marketing company. “I truly believed that network marketing distributors were people who did not have or want to have real jobs,” Bin says.

However, when a close friend introduced USANA to Bin and her husband, Frank Feng, they agreed to listen. “We told him that we usually never talk to people about network marketing or sales at all, but we would make an exception for him because he was a friend,” the couple explains. “He began showing us the products and explained that they were different from any other products on the market. We then asked him to show us the difference.” Impressed with the presentation, the couple signed up as Associates and have not looked back.

“I was a surgeon at a big hospital,

and I did not believe in nutritional supplements. The only thing I trusted was the scalpel in my hand,” Bin recalls. “Now, having used the products and shared Dr. Wentz’ vision with others, I have found that USANA allows me to reach out and help many more people than I could with a scalpel. I am able to succeed by helping others to succeed.”

This vibrant couple believes that being a good person is essential to building a USANA business. “Good people keep their integrity at a high level. Good people keep their promises and are honest to their downline. Good people share their vision with others to inspire others to achieve their goals. Good people are also good leaders, great motivators, and excellent trainers,” Frank says.

Bin and Frank also believe that picking the right network marketing company was fundamental to their success. “It is the difference of USANA and its

products that have helped us succeed in this business,” the couple exclaims. “Our experience of sharing Dr. Wentz’ vision over the years demonstrates to us that working smarter is so much more important than working harder. In the business of network marketing, the right products, the right company, the right compensation plan, and the right timing are all important. But they can’t guarantee your success without a true desire for health, wealth, and freedom.”

While their USANA business continues to grow, Frank and Bin have been able to focus more time and energy on their family and friends. “USANA has completely changed our lives and the lives of our family,” Bin says. “It has allowed us the ability to maintain our health but also given us the wealth and freedom to enjoy our life and gain great respect from our downline. We’ve never had so many friends in our lives.”

Timothy and Delbra Lewis were not always able to give so much. Before they built their

successful business, Tim laments, “All we could do was just pray for folks and tell them ‘good luck.’ But now when people are in need, we’re able to give more. And that has been a godsend.”

Tim’s USANA journey began with a chance encounter. He vividly recalls he was scheduled to sign up with another network marketing company on a Wednesday but happened to wander into a bookstore on the Tuesday prior. “That’s when I came across Robert Allen’s book Multiple Streams of Income,” he recalls. “And in that book, Robert spoke with praise about USANA. I was immediately struck by the company’s laser focus on improving the quality of people’s health everywhere.”

Helping people live better lives is a philosophy that the Lewises have embraced for years. Since 1987, the

couple—married for more than 20 years—has worked to encourage, inspire, and assist the people around them as part of their ministry. USANA has added a new dimension to their work. “We now have the ability to do more of what we enjoy doing—helping people,” Tim says. “The difference we see in other people’s lives inspires and motivates us. Our goal is to touch as many lives as possible with this opportunity.”

The Lewises are also grateful for the changes USANA has made in their own lives. They now have the freedom to set their own schedules. “I love being able to look in the mirror and ask my boss if I can take the day off,” Tim laughs. “USANA allows us to be home during the day, living the lifestyle we enjoy.” That lifestyle includes sending their teenage daughters, Daphne and Danielle, to an excellent private school and traveling around the country. It also affords Tim the time to pursue the

sports he loves, especially basketball and golf.

In the few short years they have been Associates, the growth Tim and Delbra have seen has been described by USANA’s Executive Vice President of Sales Mark Wilson as “nothing short of amazing.”

“The bottom line,” Tim says, “is that this business is a team effort, and we have been so blessed with some of the finest folks who have also accepted and embraced the vision of Dr. Wentz. My wife and I wouldn’t be where we are today if we didn’t have the leadership that we have within our team.”

Delbra and Tim are proud of all they have accomplished and look forward to an even brighter future. They believe they can achieve anything with the help of God, their organization, and a supportive corporate team. “We feel very blessed to be a part of USANA.”

When Robert Allen talks about USANA and the additional stream of

income it can provide, you can hear how meaningful this concept is to him. For years, Robert has spoken about the importance of generating multiple incomes. Now he’s experienced the difference of USANA in his life—time and financial freedom, new friends, and a powerful sense of self worth—and he is passionate about sharing it with others.

Robert admits he was skeptical about network marketing. But his wife, Daryl, persuaded him to take a chance. The pair believes joining USANA is one of the best things they have ever done. Currently, building their business is their priority, but they are grateful for the freedom their business has given them to pursue other interests.

Writing is Robert’s first love. Before USANA, the investment advisor often had to set aside creative pursuits

because he was busy with other businesses. But with the USANA business providing financial stability, Robert was able to author several books, including Cash in a Flash: Fast Money in Slow Times and an upcoming publication about network marketing. He is also collaborating on a movie based on The One Minute Millionaire, one of his many best-sellers. “Life is exciting,” he explains. “I thank USANA for allowing me to write, create, and enjoy life to the fullest.”

One of the things Robert and Daryl enjoy most is creating memories by traveling together and with their children. In recent years, they spent a month cruising through Europe, took fishing trips to Alaska and Cabo San Lucas, enjoyed Broadway shows in New York City, floated around Tahiti, toured Mayan ruins in South America, and enjoyed a luxurious safari in Kenya. In 2006, Robert also trekked up Mount Kilimanjaro. “I never imagined I could

do something like that,” Robert says. “It was a wonderful challenge.”

Robert and Daryl feel fortunate to lead such an abundant life, and they strongly believe in giving back. They give generously in church tithes and through donations to favorite charities. They are also grateful to have plenty of time to visit and support each of their grown children. Their daughter, Amae, is pursuing her singing career and their eldest son, Aaron, his own USANA business. Their youngest son, Hunter, and his wife are living in Ontario, Canada, where she is pursuing her doctorate degree in linguistics.

As the Allens prepare for future growth, they survey the landscape of their past. “Looking back, there is nothing that has come close to USANA’s consistency,” Robert observes. “The products, the stories, the opportunities—by teaching others about them, we can change lives for the better.”

When Pete Zdanis was downsized from the career he had built over

25 years, he decided it was time to take his USANA business full time. It didn’t take long for his wife, Dora, to catch the USANA vision as well. Now, after 15 years of hard work, this successful couple is living life on their own terms.

At home in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, Pete and Dora spend much of their time growing their business, supporting their team, traveling, and enjoying personal development projects.

The Zdanises are especially grateful to have time to give back to their community. They are always looking for ways to contribute to the well-being of others, including volunteering for their church and donating time and money to charities. “One of our greatest joys is giving back,” Dora says. “Because of the gratitude we feel

for everything we’ve worked so hard for, it gives us so much pleasure to give back.”

Another passion this adventurous couple shares is watching auto racing. Pete and Dora enjoyed the sport long before they met. “One of our first dates was at the Indianapolis 500 in 1991,” Pete joyfully recalls. “Auto racing was one of the commonalties we had when we were getting to know each other.” Traveling to Indianapolis is now a family tradition, as Dora’s daughter, Kim; son-in-law, Dan; and grandchildren join them each May for the race. They are also avid NASCAR fans and try to get to several of those races each year.

Having perfected the balance between work and play, the Zdanises devote a fair share of their time to travel. “We like to travel and see different places,” Pete says. “We had the opportunity to travel to Switzerland with the Fortune 25, and we extended our trip with a

week in Italy.” On another Fortune 25 trip to Ireland, they were able to do the same thing, visiting London. Some of the couple’s other recent destinations include the USANA Mediterranean Cruise, which took them to Spain, France, and Italy, as well as the Fortune 25 retreat to Kaua’i, Hawaii.

Despite being among USANA’s top Associates, IDC members, and Fortune 25 members, Pete and Dora believe they have an even more important role to play—that of grandparents. Family is their top priority, and the Zdanises love spending time with their grandchildren. “We make frequent trips to Michigan for family events, and we took a week-long Disney World vacation with our grandkids last year.”

Even though they enjoy traveling and doing what they love, “there are still things we want to accomplish,” Pete says. “We want to help people build on their dreams and reach their goals. That is what USANA is all about.”

USANA’s Growth 25 celebrates the Associates in North America who have made the largest increase in absolute Commission Volume Points (CVP) for the year. USANA’s Growth 25 is a distinguished group of people who have risen to the challenge of building a thriving business and committed themselves to spreading the vision of true health and true wealth around the world.

As leaders of one the fastest growing distributorships in 2007, 2008, and 2009, Dennis Chen and Xiao Nan Wang

demonstrate how powerful a firm belief in USANA can be. They are convinced that the USANA opportunity is the only way to achieve real health and financial freedom. “Anyone who sees it, should grab it, use it, and achieve whatever they want,” Dennis states. “It is that simple.”

With more than 18 years in the network marketing industry, Dennis believes USANA offers the best of both worlds. “USANA has the best products and the best compensation system in the world,” he says. Because of his and Wang’s unwavering belief, they share USANA’s products with everyone they know. They explain, “Once people experience the dramatic changes in their bodies, it is easy to build credibility, and credibility is the key in a word-of-mouth business.”

They also believe building a home-based business is an easy and flexible investment. “People doing traditional business invest large amounts of time and money,” they say. “And yes, they make money, but they have no time freedom. With a home-based business, you just need to carefully select what company you wish to work for and let the company do the rest.”

Dennis and Wang emphasize that in this unstable economy, now is the time to work for yourself: “People used to think that when they had a job, they had security. But when a financial crisis comes, people are more at risk to lose their jobs.” Dennis adds that he doesn’t see this as a challenge but a great opportunity. He says, “This is our time to let people know that it is time to work for themselves and there can be no limit to their success.”

Dennis and Wang want to continue building their USANA business and soon hope to be members of the Fortune 25. “Having financial freedom and being successful is the best feeling you can have,” Dennis concludes.

Liza Pascal & Ayan Rivera

What Liza Pascal wanted was right under her mouse cursor, but she couldn’t see it until she decided it was what she

needed. “I had this personal realization that no matter how hard I worked, no matter how many clients, no matter how successful, I still wasn’t going to be able to send my daughter to college or have the lifestyle I wanted,” she says. After that, Liza—an acupuncturist and frequent visitor to Dr. Christiane Northrup’s Web site—finally noticed the link about USANA. One click turned into one month on a HealthPak™, and Liza was on her way.

For a year and a half she slowly phased out her practice and fully committed to USANA. In January 2008, Liza went on a speaking campaign across the U.S., sharing USANA with other health practitioners. This netted her much of her team, and helped Liza hit Gold.

She wanted to switch things up, so Liza, her partner Ayan Rivera, and the couple’s daughter went to the Philippines in December 2008—an experience made more special because Ayan hails from the Philippines. After nearly nine months of intense building, Liza and family left, exhausted, but with a self-sustaining team. Not long after they returned home, a typhoon hit the Philippines, so she raised money to help the team she built there.

After all, team is very important to Liza. “Give your time, give your energy, give your hope to your team,” she says. “You can’t succeed without helping someone else succeed, and that falls in line with my belief system. I run my life on ‘What goes around comes around.’ The more you give, the more you get. That’s like my religion.” Then, it should be no surprise Liza will spend 2010 focusing on her team, helping them conquer psychological obstacles preventing their success.

As for her future, Liza says the leveraged income from USANA has allowed her to go back to acupuncture because she loves it, instead of out of survival mode. “USANA is giving me the ability to go back and heal in the way I originally wanted to.”

Chun Y. Liu & Tao Pang

For many USANA Associates, realizing the potential for success with running a USANA business comes sometime after

realizing the benefits of USANA’s products. For Chun Liu and Tao Pang, it was the financial opportunity that led them to what they call “the best network marketing company there is.” Liu explains, “I did some research and found that network marketing is a completely viable sector for entrepreneurs like us. We compared USANA with other companies and became convinced that this was the way to become financially independent.”

Now, as members of the elite Growth 25 and a distributorship that is quickly rising in the USANA ranks, it would appear that Liu and Pang have definitely made the right decision. “One of the greatest benefits of USANA,” Pang says, “is the steady flow of income we receive. Everything that people are financially worried about—inflation, unemployment, a bad economy—are all things that we know we don’t have to worry about.”

So, what is the secret to their success? “This is a business based around people,” Pang explains. “It is important to know that you are providing solutions to needs and problems and not just products to people.” Liu goes on to say, “Even though we are living in an Internet-driven society, meeting face-to-face with someone can really mean a lot. It isn’t as fast or easy, but it is worth the effort to meet those who you are trying to help.”

For Liu and Pang, their business strategy, as well as their success with USANA, can be summed up in one of their favorite quotes from Robert Allen: “Givers get.” Pang explains, “Our next step in this business is to focus our full efforts on team building and letting each and every member of our team truly realize that USANA is the best there is.” “We knew from the start that this was the right business,” Liu concludes. “And now, we can show others how USANA can help ordinary people like us achieve financial independence.”

Raúl Izasmendi & Daen Cervantes

When Daen Cervantes and Raúl Izasmendi look back at how their life was five years ago, it seems like a dream. “It feels

like there was just this incredible change overnight once we joined USANA,” they say.

Before ever hearing word one about the company, both had good jobs that took up all of their time. “We couldn’t travel or spend time together,” they remember. Not that it really mattered. Their dreams were limited by their income anyway. But after learning about USANA, “we have been able to grow so much as people. We have learned to dream again and have met excellent friends with whom we have started to follow a path in search for happiness by helping others to be happy. It is thanks to USANA that we were able to leave our former jobs and are now enjoying life together.”

They love everything about working their business. “What we enjoy the most is the opportunity to do this business as a couple and with our family,” they state. All the while the couple delights in working together to continue learning and growing as people, sharing Dr. Wentz’ vision, helping others to be happy, and realizing their dreams.

One of their dreams was realized at the 2009 International Convention where they were honored as members of the Growth 25. “More than anything we are representing our great team and México,” they say humbly. “We feel very fortunate because there are excellent Associates in Baja California and throughout México. Crossline, upline, and downline members alike share valuable information that helps us be united and realize our goals and dreams. Our team has been a blessing in our lives, and it is an honor to be able to represent the USANA México family.”

Like many Associates, Amy Nie was first introduced to USANA through the incredible products. It was nine years ago, and

she was so impressed with the products that she hardly even noticed the business aspect of USANA.

Then, in 2006, a friend and successful entrepreneur changed Amy’s mindset toward network marketing. Amy began to research the industry, giving each company she came across the same careful consideration: their industry, corporate background, vision, product reputation, and marketing plan. In the end, she chose USANA.

“USANA is a no-limits business college,” Amy says. “We gain health and the freedom of wealth. At the same time, it’s a process of integrating perfection in my partners and me.”

For two years Amy gradually built her USANA business in her spare time. Then, making a leap of faith, Amy gave up a 10-year career in the finance industry and fully devoted her time to building her USANA business. Now, her team has grown and spread across many countries, where they are working to deliver Dr. Wentz’ vision of true health and true wealth.

Thanks to USANA’s international expansion, Amy is able to work closely with two of her sisters, both of whom are Gold Directors. “Our parents passed away at an early age,” Amy admits. “USANA has helped our family stay closer together.”

Amy has built a successful business following a simple yet powerful strategy—she shares USANA’s products with every friend and relative with sincerity, while building her team through giving and love. “The happiest thing about USANA is that my success is based on helping others improve their health and reach the freedom of wealth.”

For Amy, success is something that any Associate can achieve. “Believe in your business,” she says. “Overcome your weaknesses and strive continuously to keep going, and never give up.”

Sheila & Duke Tubtim

Steady growth is something 5-Star Diamond Directors Duke and Sheila Tubtim have seen in their USANA business. But

it goes deeper than that for two of USANA’s youngest and most well-known Associates.

As a practitioner of Kaizen, an age-old Japanese tradition of continuous self-improvement, Duke believes it’s important to always be growing and learning. “In all aspects of my life, I always want to be improving and never to be standing still,” he says. “I want to be the best I can.”

The long-held mantra “Once you stop growing, that’s when you start dying” drives this 5-Star couple. And since Duke was approached about USANA in March of 2004, while he was in college working as a pizza deliveryman, his business really hasn’t stopped growing. Just this year, the Tubtims advanced to 3-Star Diamond, and only four short months later hit the 4-Star mark. “We knew we wanted to make our run as soon as possible. That was always our plan,” Duke shares. “After our emotional run to 3-Star, we knew we wanted to get back on track and focus on our business.”

Through all the tough times and advancements, the Tubtims say their team, which totals about 15,000 USANA Associates, has always been there for them. “If it weren’t for the organization and dedication of my team, we would definitely not be where we are now. They are responsible for helping me achieve my goals and current rank,” he says.

Now, the Tubtims are planning on helping their team hit their advancements. “Our biggest challenge right now is helping our team to rank advance as well,” Duke shares. “We took it upon ourselves that if our team wanted to advance, we would jump into the ring with them.”

And don’t expect Duke to stop growing and improving any time soon. “I’m just awestruck. I’m living the life I’ve always wanted, driving the cars I could only dream about, while working a job I love,” he concludes. “Why would I stop?”

Wei Liang (Sam)

I never thought I would be here,” states new Growth 25 member Wei Liang (Sam). “But now that I am, I want more of my team

members to reach this level as well. I want them all to experience this quality of life, respect, and accomplishment.”

Before becoming a network marketing entrepreneur, Sam worked a competitive job in the travel industry. He trained many employees, but didn’t realize that those very employees would end up taking many of his clients and business. That fierce competitiveness all changed, however, once Sam discovered the difference of working as a team to achieve success in his USANA business.

Sam believes that while many people are concerned about job security during the economic downturn, there are many people concerned about their health. “Health is wealth,” Sam states. “Without it, we have nothing. Now more than ever, people are afraid to be sick. If you’re sick, it not only affects your job performance but it is also a financial burden due to all the money you spend seeing doctors.”

Therefore, offering people the USANA opportunity of health and wealth is so beneficial. “Many people are afraid of losing jobs, or they have lost their job and are unable to find a new one,” he says. “Therefore, a home-based business becomes a great choice. With this opportunity you can be better.” Sam can back up this assertion because he has experienced it firsthand. “USANA is a great company,” he says. “Not only has it given me financial freedom, it has also guaranteed my health.”

According to Sam, it is easy and exciting to build your own USANA business: “USANA is on top of technology compared with other companies in the same industry. And whatever excitement you get from traditional business, you can get from USANA.” Sam offers this advice for a successful business, “You just need to take action,” he says. “Set goals, learn the business, have a good attitude, and share it with everyone around you. Eventually success will come. It’s a matter of fact.”

Caiping Mu

After being approached about the USANA opportunity, new Growth 25 member Caiping Mu couldn’t fall asleep. “I was

so excited,” she states. “USANA is such an amazing company. The products and compensation plan are number one in the world.”

Before discovering USANA, Mu worked at a clothing wholesaler and another network marketing company. When her friend Anna introduced her to USANA, she couldn’t believe such a great company existed. “After two weeks of studying and researching on the Internet, I was truly impressed,” Mu says. “Immediately I began to share the amazing products and Dr. Wentz’ vision with all my relatives and friends.”

During the economic downturn, Mu believes there is a bigger need for owning a network marketing business. “Owning your own home-based business won’t affect your family or career,” she states. “Everyone can treat it as a back-up opportunity, or business, until it starts going. Look around at all the people who have lost their jobs; gradually, they will be more willing to understand and accept this business.”

Mu adds, “This is a fantastic company! I never thought they would treat us to a trip to Hawaii. I didn’t even have to worry about tipping!” she laughs. Mu had a lifelong dream of going horseback riding but never had a chance to go. “USANA has made my dreams come true, in more ways than one. I went horseback riding for an hour and a half. An experience I am never going to forget!”

“I am so happy and appreciative of my team,” Mu says. “They have worked really hard, day and night, to help me get to where I am. It is my hope and desire for everyone on my team to reach this level.”

As one of the newest members of the Growth 25, Mei Huang is truly grateful for Dr. Wentz’ vision and thanks USANA

for providing the highest-quality products. “Having the best products enables us to share them with confidence and without hesitation,” she states. “I believe this company offers the very best compensation plan, and every hard-working Associate is able to receive what he or she deserves.”

In the beginning, Huang was just trying to find good products for her mother. However, after she read Dr. Wentz’ Invisible Miracles and came to understand USANA’s compensation plan, she believed in Dr. Wentz’ vision. “Even if I didn’t generate an income from it, I wanted to give myself an opportunity to both help people have good health and to generate an income,” Huang says. “That is how I got started, and honestly, I never expected to achieve such an outcome.”

Huang believes much of the company’s success is because of its amazing product innovation. “I greatly appreciate Dr. Wentz,” she states. “Every time USANA products help the health of people whom I have introduced to the products, I feel thankful. USANA’s products give me the ability to help people.”

Though Huang feels everyone has a different concept regarding how to succeed, she believes that if you will continue to share your vision of good health with others, you will receive a good income. “As long as you keep improving yourself and are sincerely helping all your team members, your team will grow and you will achieve your goal of financial security,” she says.

During this time of economic uncertainty, people need to seize opportunities, and Huang is most grateful for her USANA business. “I feel so fortunate to have started my home-based business early. USANA is the best opportunity because it provides us with a contingency option in unpredictable economic conditions.” She emphasizes, “This opportunity will bring you great wealth and health freedom.”

Ri Yue Liu

In his second consecutive year as a Growth 25 member, Ri Yue Liu is proof of what can happen when you make Dr. Wentz’

vision your own. “I think to be successful in USANA, you must understand and execute Dr. Wentz’ vision,” he says. “That is the first and most important aspect of every successful Associate.”

“As time goes on, good health will become more crucial,” Liu states. “It’s very important to be involved in this business. In USANA you can have both, good health and wealth. It is the foundation of this business.”

Liu believes an economic downturn brings a great opportunity and market for a USANA business. “When people have no job, no chance, they can’t just wait to die, can they?” Liu asks. “Look for this as a great opportunity in a difficult situation. Every ordinary person can do this business.”

With little knowledge of the English language and a limited educational background Liu was hesitant that he could be successful in this business. “I didn’t think I could succeed in America and in a large worldwide company like USANA,” Liu recalls. But the former business owner of three companies did not let his reservations stop him. Liu accepted his language barrier and, over time, was able to establish a strong team whom he credits for much of his success.

“To tell you the truth, this is my team’s accomplishment,” he says. “Because of my team’s support, motivation, and training, I not only achieved the Growth 25 but four other members on my team did as well.” Liu wants to thank the Home Office for its support and training too. “I’ve experienced a very different feeling working for USANA compared to working with other companies,” he shares. “This achievement is as much my team’s and the company’s as it is mine.”

Luis Antonio Vega Chávez & Georgina Orozco

Trust is what it came down to when Luis Antonio Vega Chávez and Georgina Orozco decided to join USANA four years ago.

Some friends of theirs trusted the company’s products, and Tony and Georgina trusted their friends. And today, they trust their health and their future to the company that is quickly changing their lives.

“Our life has dramatically improved,” the couple laughs as they run through their laundry list of life-altering changes. “We are healthy; we exercise; we profit from USANA every day.” They are also learning more about business, languages, and human development. “USANA has allowed us to grow as people—that is what we appreciate the most. Our life gets better every day because we are better. We have a great desire to help others and to be able to touch and inspire their lives, just as ours were inspired.”

The most valuable gift they have received throughout their journey with USANA is time. And they share that time with those they hold dear. “We devote ourselves full time to the members of our organization. They are more than Associates; they are our friends, our family, and our number one priority,” they say. “All of our achievements are possible thanks to them.”

One of their recent, most-prized achievements has been being recognized as members of the Growth 25. “The recognition by the company is amazing!” they exclaim. “We are deeply thankful to USANA and to Dr. Myron Wentz. The way they treat us can’t be found anywhere else. The trips, the fun, and the first-rate lifestyle on top of the excellent company with incredible people are like a dream come true!”

All in all, this couple couldn’t be happier with where USANA has taken them thus far. “The freedom we have to live our life and to work with fabulous people in a healthy and encouraging atmosphere is a priceless treasure,” they conclude.

Leanne Grechulk

Seated in padmasana, the “lotus pose” of certain yoga disciplines, is not where you would typically find a successful

businesswoman on a Wednesday afternoon. But for Leanne Grechulk, a USANA Associate with one of the fastest growing distributorships in the business, this is exactly where she wants to be. “I am often so focused on being productive in my business, that I tend to lose sight of taking care of myself,” Leanne admits. “Yoga keeps me in check. It keeps me grounded.”

Staying grounded can be difficult with the meteoric growth that Leanne has brought to her business over the past few years. She began taking USANA products eight years ago while pursuing her MBA. She enjoyed those products, but it wasn’t until three years later that she considered the financial opportunity behind USANA. “I went to convention with my now partner Christian Dion and, though I was skeptical, the more Associates I met, the more excited I became.” This was especially true after meeting Christian’s sister, Gold Director Natalie Dion. “She was so passionate and enthusiastic about her USANA business. I wanted what she had!”

Leanne would come to realize that level of success by setting up goals for herself. “My first goal was to work toward Platinum PaceSetter,” Leanne says. “I then set my sails towards Silver Director. Once I achieved Silver, there was just no turning back! Diamond bound!” In fact, Leanne has set a goal to achieve the rank of Diamond Director by May of 2010.

“I truly believe that USANA has the most effective and unique business model on the planet,” she states. “There is nothing else that can offer the time, health, and financial freedom that USANA can.” That freedom not only allows her the time to go on personal retreats, run marathons, or practice yoga on a weekday afternoon, but it allows her to actually earn money while she is doing it. “I own my own time and that is truly the most beautiful joy USANA has enabled me to create.”

Planning, teamwork, growth, and rank advancements. When you put these together with two dedicated people, you get a

dynamic couple who has earned Growth 25 status in USANA.

Four years ago, Guillermo Chávez and Alejandra Guzmán had never even heard the term Growth 25, let alone anything about USANA. But today, they live it, breathe it, and love every minute of it. “We love to take care of our Associates, to help them grow,” they say. “It takes a lot of work and hours of traveling, but in the end it is always worth it.”

They especially enjoy the opportunity to meet new people who want to join their team and “who want to dream and work together to achieve common goals” every day.

On top of that, the time Guillermo and Alejandra now get to spend with their children is priceless. “The way we are raising them now has become very different than before,” they explain. “We can take holidays wherever we want and whenever we want without having to ask the boss for permission!” In fact, Guillermo is now his own boss as he was able to quit his job due to their success with USANA.

The couple describes the feelings that come with the accomplishments they have experienced thus far as unique. “The feeling that you have succeeded along with people who have your same vision—a positive mindset, a happy and healthy family, and a commitment to looking after the well-being of others—is really special,” they say.

Above all, believing they could make it is what kept Guillermo and Alejandra going and progressing in USANA. That belief helped them get to where they are today: “We have time for personal growth and for activities we enjoy. We have met many people from whom we have learned a lot and who have helped us become better people. And, most importantly, we have a much better quality of life.”

Vern Lapuz Jr.

When Vern Lapuz Jr. was changing oil at a Walmart Tire and Lube Express—“a car guy going to junior college,

livin’ life”—he never dreamed of being on a white sand beach, surrounded by peers of USANA’s best and brightest, being recognized as “The RESET boy.” But after a life-changing journey with USANA, that’s exactly where he found himself.

“I didn’t know it was going to be that big of a deal,” Vern says. “I had no idea when people type my name in Google, it pops up with weight loss.”

He wasn’t looking for attention; he was just working on himself. That started about the same time Vern, who had only been Gold for 18 months, was making his Ruby run. “Between Gold and Ruby was the biggest change of my life,” he says. Vern finally had his dream car—a Lamborghini—but found that alone didn’t make him happy. He started to work on his weight. He changed his life. Vern walked—and later ran—in the morning and evening, working his business in between.

On top of those personal changes, Vern’s mother lost her job, creating the need for someone to replace that lost income. Vern had never been under so much pressure and needed a way to get out from under it. His USANA business and his mentor, 4-Star Diamond Director Duke Tubtim, helped him rise to the occasion. “I was questioning why everyone was going to me, and Duke told me it was because they saw me as the answer,” Vern explains. “Duke said, ‘Be the superman of your family.’”

Vern found the inspiration to step up for his family in a different superhero. “It was hard. And the person I could relate to was Batman because he was put through the ringer. I thought, if he can do it, I can do it, too.”

Like a superhero, Vern came through, and even ended up getting the girl. And having that significant other has given Vern the happiness he couldn’t get from the cars he dreamed of during his days at Walmart.

67

Tony & Tammy Daum

A winning million-dollar lottery ticket—that’s how 2-Star Diamond Directors Tony and Tammy Daum see the USANA

opportunity. And it’s not just for yourself; it’s an unending supply of winning tickets to share. “USANA is an incredible gift,” Tammy explains, “and people shouldn’t hesitate to go out and share it.” The couple knows from personal experience that USANA can be the solution to many problems people face, whether it’s a need for better health or financial security, and they stay focused on helping others discover the difference of true health and freedom in their own lives.

There are two ways these members of the Growth 25 find new Associates and customers. One is working with their downline to help them share the opportunity with their friends and family. The other is simply by living their lives. “When you’re in USANA and realize how good you’ve got it, you want to share it. While you’re out living your life, you bump into people and the opportunity comes up. The key,” Tony notes, “is you can’t just be in USANA. USANA has to be in you. Then you wear it, you live it, and you share it. It’s just natural.”

That’s not to say that it’s always easy to build a new business, or always fast. The Daums emphasize that success comes in direct proportion to the effort put forth. When Associates are first starting, they “need to put in as many hours as they possibly can,” Tammy advises. And Tony adds, “If you really want this to be a career, you have to hit it with everything you’ve got, that’s what creates momentum.”

To keep motivated when the effort may not seem worth it, Tony notes that a business builder must stay focused on a “rock-solid reason to succeed, where failure is not an option.” Perseverance and willingness to be a teachable part of a team are also crucial, along with a commitment to excellence. “USANA is truly a company of excellence in a world of mediocrity,” Tony asserts. “You’ve got to match that excellence to build a strong business.”

Deidra Robledo & Carlos Omar Olivas

It’s a frustration many people can understand: “It’s tough putting your hand in your pocket and not having a single penny even

though you have worked hard.” Four years ago, that’s exactly where Carlos Omar Olivas found himself. He was working incredibly long days and discovering how expensive it was to run his own flooring business, especially as the construction business was starting to decline. So, he started looking for something different. That’s when he grasped the USANA opportunity and everything began to change. After two years, he became a full-time Associate and “said goodbye to the alarm clock and working 14-hour days.”

Perseverance has been the key to Carlos’ success. In 2007 and 08, he was part of the Growth 100, but he decided he could do more. Always an admirer of those who reach the top in any field, Carlos dug deep and, with the help of his team, is now proud to count himself among the Growth 25 after a year of concentrated effort. “This recognition means a lot to me and my family,” he states. “Everyone deserves this recognition, and they can have it if they make an effort to be the best.”

Carlos’ efforts came in the form of making presentations and training every day. He focused on supporting his team members, new and “not so new,” to create better synergy within his organization, which he emphasizes is an essential element to getting results.

In Carlos’ life, those results have been worth all the time and energy. “Now my family and I enjoy true freedom—better health, more and more time, and more and more money,” he says.

USANA has become a passion for Carlos. He hopes to continue helping others realize there is an alternative to working a traditional job. He explains, “If your income depends only on your time, you are limiting yourself. What I enjoy most now is being able to share this great opportunity with my friends and my friends’ friends. There is nothing better than residual income.”

Nong Ren & Perry Chong

USANA’s innovative Matching Bonus program has been a great way for many Associates to jump-start their businesses.

For Perry Chong and Nong Ren, it was the key to their swift rise through the ranks of USANA and their placement in the Growth 25. “When Matching Bonus was introduced,” explains Ren, “I was able to explain to my team how crucial this program was to their financial future.” In only three months, the couple became Silver Directors. A short time later, they advanced all the way to Emerald, with their sights set even higher.

On this fast track to success, Perry and Ren have not only found the financial freedom that they were looking for, but also a truly rewarding lifestyle. “With a USANA business, there truly are no limits,” Ren explains. “USANA is about our health, our income, our personal growth. It is about almost everything in our life.” Perry goes on to say, “We are running our business while we are truly living and having fun.”

Even with all of the benefits that they enjoy, this powerful team can track their success in the difference that it has made in the lives of others. “We have a friend who was laid off from work,” Ren shares. “We went to see him one day and shared both the health and financial benefits that come with a USANA business. He began taking the products, and now he is an entrepreneur himself, running his own USANA business full time. Being able to improve quality of life is what this business is all about.”

With a strong background in science, Perry and Ren enjoyed the quality and benefits of the products when they first became Associates. Now, nearly 10 years later, the couple is also realizing the full potential and the wisdom of running their own USANA business. “You can never harvest before you sow your seeds,” Ren explains. “You must wisely invest your time and effort and, later, the harvest will definitely be worth the wait.”

Dr. Christiane Northrup

Introduced to USANA through her sister and brother-in-law, 1-Star Diamond Directors Penny and Phil Kirk, Dr. Christiane

Northrup had over 30 years experience as a doctor behind her and knew a good thing when she saw it. “My roots with nutritional medicine run very deep, and once I saw the products I believed, like the saying, they were nutritionals you could trust,” she shares.

A best-selling author and leading physician in women’s health, Dr. Northrup was initially apprehensive to recommend the products and opportunity to patients, but she realized she could help create a solution to the problems she was seeing. “I saw that the problems in women’s health were related to the inability to make ends meet financially,” she recalls. “I was never going to force my patients into it, but I concluded that it was almost unethical of me not to share this business opportunity with others.”

With a growing business to her name, Dr. Northrup offers this advice when it comes to success: “It takes enthusiasm, plain and simple. It takes belief in the products and the process of network marketing.”

In addition, Dr. Northrup finds joy working side by side with her daughter Kate Northrup Moller. “I can’t imagine a better place to be than working with my daughter,” she shares. Her other daughter, Ann, also helps with the business as her schedule permits.

While pursuing her title of Diamond Director, members of her team encouraged her to work toward becoming a member of the Growth 25. Little did she know that the challenge would actually come to fruition. “As motivation, Kate created a poster with a picture of us and a previous Growth 25 advertisement. As crazy as it sounds, the next day we found out I had become a member.”

When it comes to the Growth 25, Dr. Northrup is honored to be a part of it. “The diversity of the group is amazing. It is really fun, and USANA has orchestrated this to fit all cultures, genders, and ages.” She concludes, “They’re fun, positive people that you really want to hang out with.”

It’s doubtful that Anne Welsh will ever forget the day she advanced to Ruby Director—May 15 to be exact. And,

it couldn’t have come at a better time for her. “May 14 was my 10th anniversary of being here in the States; May 15 was my birthday and the day I advanced to Ruby Director. It was a great week!” she exclaims.

Anne cruised from Gold to Ruby in just over five months—an impressive feat by any standard. The quick growth of her organization along with her hard work landed her on the prestigious Growth 25 list. 2009 Growth 25 members were treated to an unforgettable trip to the Riviera Maya in Mexico at the luxurious Mayakoba resort. Anne and her husband, John, spent five days at this magnificent resort right next to the Caribbean Sea with other Growth 25 members. It was an incredible trip that she will always remember.

Anne is quick to credit her awesome team for many of her accomplishments with USANA. “My team is always encouraging everyone to step up the game and work really hard,” she says. “Even though my team is fairly young, they are working so hard.”

When Anne came to the United States, she didn’t know a lot of people and didn’t know what the future had in store for her. After learning about USANA, she discovered it was a great way for her to not only build a business, but also to create great friendships. It’s these wonderful USANA friendships that have supported her along the way.

Her advice to new entrepreneurs looking to make it to the Growth 25 is simple. “You can’t quit. There are too many friends around to help you,” she explains. “Start at the beginning and the steps are provided for you. But be sure to be teachable.”

Ronette Wood

Ronette Wood smiles when reflecting about her start with USANA. “I wasn’t motivated at all,” she laughs. “However

my friend, USANA Associate, Vivian Alvarez was motivated to get me started.” Having joined USANA the previous spring, Ronette had little idea of the opportunities that awaited her at USANA’s International Convention in 2008. It was a presentation by Robert Kiyosaki, in addition to Associates’ success stories, that lit a passion within Ronette. Seven impressive weeks later, she earned a spot as a Diamond Director.

A new member of the Growth 25, she is honored to represent the company she loves. “To be able to represent the team and the business I have built is an honor,” Ronette states. “It’s incredibly humbling.”

She is also grateful to be sharing a message she is so passionate about. “It is so easy to talk about USANA because it is coming straight from my heart,” she explains. “I love what the company brings out in you.”

Part of her success in creating a business has come as the result of associating herself with those who want to succeed. “You have to match energy with energy,” Ronette states. “It’s all about the relationships you build.”

As a successful leader, Ronette is undoubtedly aware of the struggles one faces in network marketing, but she is proof that success is within reach for those who work hard. “You have to have perseverance. USANA has the tools, the training, and the products. You have everything you need to become successful,” she advises. “Bottom line is, don’t give up because you have no reason to give up.”

Watching her business multiply and flourish is an absolute joy to Ronette, and she finds satisfaction in bringing USANA to others. “I never felt like I was helping other people in corporate America. But I am with USANA. That is why I am in love with this company,” she concludes.

USANA has been my turning point,” says Growth 25 member Qiuzhu Dong. “This company has completely changed my

life into a better, healthier one.”

Having an interest in health, Dong was looking for a solution to help her maintain optimal health. After taking USANA’s products and seeing the results for herself, she wanted to build a business. “I trust USANA’s products and believe in Dr. Wentz’ vision,” she says. “So I asked myself, ‘Why not establish my own home-based business and share these great products with others?’”

Dong believes there are three factors that have influenced her USANA business: trust, understanding, and perseverance. “I trust Dr. Wentz’ vision, I understand the products from my personal experience, and I work really hard,” she says. Though she has only two years of education, Dong believes, “If I can do it, anyone can. And I hope that people will eventually pass me up,” she adds with a laugh.

In the unstable economy, Dong feels there is opportunity for people in network marketing. “Many people face pressure from their bosses and fear an unpredictable job market,” she states. “However, people who own their own home-based business do not have that worry, stress, or fear. The fact that USANA offers that kind of security has made me more confident when showing the advantages of owning a home-based business. In addition, it has also increased my business partners.”

Dong is amazed that she has reached this level of success and income from her USANA business, and she was honored to speak in front of everyone at USANA’s International Convention. “I really appreciate USANA’s support and was happy to receive Dr. Wentz’ praise. It is now my goal to work harder than ever to carry out his great vision of a world free from pain and disease.”

Dr. Alberto Peña Pérez & Brenda Alcaraz

Before discovering USANA, Brenda Alcaraz and Dr. Alberto Peña Pérez were working demanding jobs, Brenda as an

architect and Alberto as a physician. They worked more than 10 hours many days and were looking for something that would give them some extra energy. Around that time they were introduced to USANA. Initially, Brenda and Alberto just wanted to take the products to help maintain their health and had no interest in building a business. However, after seeing the results for themselves, they decided to join the company.

Today, Brenda and Alberto are extremely grateful for their decision to pursue the USANA opportunity. “In addition to the health, monetary, and time freedom rewards, no other business or career has given us the personal growth that we’ve obtained through USANA,” they say. “When we started we had zero business skills, but with time we’ve obtained the skills necessary to be successful.”

At first, this busy couple’s business plan was to focus 80 percent on the products and 20 percent on the business. Now they give both aspects of USANA equal weight because they realize that the products and the business are both important when prospecting. “Our goal is to help people achieve what we’ve enjoyed for the last few years—a better quality of life,” they say.

Brenda believes one should do this business with the purpose of making people’s lives better. She particularly feels that Associates need to take responsibility for the people they sponsor. “If you help them be successful, you will be successful,” she says. “We get such a high when our team members advance. We are living our dream, so why shouldn’t they?”

Though there will be tough times, this faithful couple relies on a power greater than themselves. Les Brown, an inspiring mentor, motivational speaker, and friend, once gave Brenda and Alberto the following advice: “If you always put God first, you’ll never come in second.” This is one motto that Brenda and Alberto say has never failed them. “We’ve applied this in our own lives and experienced it to be true.”

Jonathan & Li Cheng

In August 2008, the mother-son team of Li and Jonathan Cheng originally saw USANA as a means to achieving better health. But

the business has also become an integral part of the lives of these Ruby Directors. “I wake up with USANA. I go to sleep with USANA. Sometimes I even do presentations in my sleep,” Li admits.

She has assumed much of the responsibility for their burgeoning USANA business while Jonathan focuses on his studies. Li was an insurance agent for 13 years but recently stopped to focus on USANA full time. “I’m happy because I see a lot of people changing their lives,” she says about her decision to leave the insurance industry.

Although they enjoy the business, if you ask the Chengs why they’re sold on USANA, they’ll return to their love of the products. “Believe. Believe. I believe in the company and the product,” Li says. This strong belief comes from the effects she’s felt in her own health, which she struggled with for most of her life. In fact, Li says the way she’s been able to find success in prospecting is to talk about the Comparative Guide rating of USANA’s products and share her own testimony about the products.

The Chengs both love to travel, and with USANA, they have a business they can take with them. Jonathan says they would love to continue to grow their business internationally so they can travel the world sharing USANA’s vision and helping those in need of a solution to their health concerns.

For now, they’re enjoying the health and wealth their involvement with USANA has brought them. “Thanks to USANA, a simple person like me can become successful too!” Jonathan says.

“I never found success before,” Li adds. “I want to be a successful woman. We were nobody, but with USANA we are somebody.”

Chun Ling Zhang (Helen)

Chun Ling Zhang (Helen) believes that becoming a member of the Growth 25 and owning a successful USANA business is

a result of four main factors: discipline, persistence, belief in the company, and the dedication of her team. “I am where I am today because I have set goals and treated USANA as a career,” she says. “Success will only follow.”

In the beginning, Helen’s motivation for owning a home-based business was that it was a low investment and a simple way to start taking the products. She also believed it was an easy way to start her own business and was suitable for “ordinary people like me,” she laughs. “But what I have learned is the commission plan is real and will help one gain health and financial freedom.”

Helen believes that having a “young and easy-going” management team has made it easy to build her successful USANA business. “I think Dr. Wentz and Dave Wentz are fantastic!” Helen exclaims. “It is so easy to follow management leaders like them. I hope to continue this momentum by working harder, going higher, and growing even closer to USANA’s management team,” she states.

During the economic downturn, Helen believes that people have changed their opinion of network marketing and are more willing to accept this type of business. “People feel that it’s necessary to have a backup,” she says. “Now that we’re in a recession, people will reconsider and think that owning their own home-based business is a good idea.”

While helping others, Helen hopes to win more of the company’s great incentives, including more trips. “I really enjoyed the Growth 25 trip [to Hawaii].” She concludes, “It is my hope to continue traveling around the world while building my USANA business.”
