Miller’s video was titled, “Super-heroes,” submitted to the HamptonState Bank in Hampton. She receiveda $250 prize.

The video contest encouragedstudents ages 13-18 to learn about

the value of saving and using moneywisely. Participating students creat-ed videos that promoted saving,which they submitted to their localIowa bank, for a chance to win local,state and national prizes.

and Tyler Kline, both of Clear Lake,were inducted into Phi Kappa Phi

lege, and Kline, is a student at Col-orado State University.

There will be a public celebration from 1 to 4 p.m.Saturday, May 4, in the church fellowship hall at 34020th St. S.W., Mason City.

Pastor Jack has many hobbies and has been veryinvolved in the community. He is famous for his photog-raphy, winning many awards. He started a camera clubthat has grown over the years. He also takes his pho-tographs, turns them into slides, sets them to music forslide presentations and shows them all over the area. Heloves to hunt, fish and play tennis. He’s an avid camperand has taken several trips with the Cadets to Yellow-stone National Park.

Jack and Karen have four children, Sonja (Greg)Kaupp, Chaska, Minn., Maribeth (Aaron) Larson, Min-neapolis, Minn.; Pastor Matt (Julie), Calgary, Canada,and Joe (Sunnie), Wichita, Kan. They have seven grand-children. They are planning on retiring in the Min-neapolis area.
