Cello Audition Excerpts 2018-2019 In addition to the following excerpts, all players should prepare: 1. A piece (or excerpt from a piece) of your choice. In addition to the following excerpts, all players should prepare:

1. A piece (or excerpt from a piece) of your choice. This solo should be representative of

your overall musical and technical ability. Solos and excerpts should be no more than 2

minutes in length.

2. Scales: Three octave major and melodic minor scales up to four sharps and four flats.
