Winter might be coming, but things are really hotting up here at SEC. One of the highlights in July will be a fantastic new live show celebrating the TV phenomenon that was the Lucille Ball show. This laugh packed pint-sized performance will be one of the most entertaining hours on stage at SEC this year.

Popular Music lovers have so much to choose from. Whether it’s the Golden Oldies of Dusty Springfield, the Everly Brothers and Buddy Holly, the 60s and 70s stars Rod Stewart and Tina Turner, the musicals Grease and Hairspray, the 70s and 80s of Fleetwood Mac or The Magic of Queen, there is a tribute performance for all tastes.

We haven’t forgotten classical lovers either as there is the play Glorious, telling the hilarious story of Florence Foster Jenkins the World Worst Opera Singer. There are also two great classical music themed shows, in your much loved formats. Back to the Golden Years present their Winter concert with an Andre Rieu flavoured show, while the annual Christmas in July also has a classic feel as multi-instrumentalist Danny Elliot shows off his incredibly broad talents.

If that’s not enough, the first signs of Spring will be celebrated in on Sunday 27 August with your local Sutherland Shire Symphony Orchestra.

There is also something for the children with the very popular Leigh Hobbs character Horrible Harriet making her first stage appearance direct from the Sydney Opera House on Sunday 20 August. There are great family pack ticket discounts available for this show so book early for that one.
