Driving questions

•How do we effectively market our New Tech with student designed artwork that demonstrates their mathematical knowledge of graphing circles?

We use circles to create art that promotes our school as a good environment

Driving questions

•How can art be created with mathematical equations? When do images have a cohesive theme?

Art can be created with a series of equations which shape an overall image. Images will have a cohesive theme if the person who looks at the art can detect one.

Driving question

•How do we transfer a hand drawn concept to a precise digit format?

You must have a design can be worked into a form that resembles the image.

•How is color hatched and/or filled with digital software?

We used Adobe Illustrator, but as long as you have a tool that fills ellipses/rectangles with color, you’re good.

Driving questions

•How are quality digital prints created? We used a laser printer with special postcard paper to print our designs, but as long as your printer can handle HD photos, you’re good. Just make sure your image is HD as well.

Driving questions

•How do you precisely graph circles (and ellipses) on a xy-plane?

Decimals allow for small increments to be added, allowing for the most precise location of your equations.

How we came up with our idea

•Daisy started looking up memes, and I followed by looking for my own meme, finally we made into a new tech version.
