PowerChart MaternityCerner maternity solutions automate the entire maternity process. From diagnosis of pregnancy through the post-partum period, the solution collects and integrates all of the data into an electronic health record (EHR) for both mother and baby. FetaLinkWith FetaLink®, fetal monitoring device information can seamlessly inte-grate into the EHR, providing a unified record of care. The solution docu-ments and provides a graphical display of the relationship between fetal heart rates and contraction data. It also stores and displays waveforms and annotations —information clinicians can view on a display monitor at the bedside, throughout the hospital or clinic and through remote access.

Cerner also offers a FetaLink service outside of the EHR integrated system. This FetaLink service provides electronic fetal monitoring surveillance and strip archival to hospitals of all sizes. With this service, FetaLink is used to extend the same alerting and central surveillance technology to allow labor and delivery departments to streamline their workflows, provide reliable access to archived fetal strips, and increase access to information for those who need it most.
