Notes: 1. This approval covers double leaf doorsets with:

• Leafs of equal width (450f/02, 450f/04, 450f/06, 450f/08, 450f/10 and 450f/12); and

• Leafs of unequal width (450f/02 and 450f/04). Both leafs on these doors shall be between 300 mm and 975 mm wide. 2. If only one barrel bolt on the passive leaf is engaged on configurations SM3, SM4, SM13, SM14, SM23, SM24, MT1(T) to MT10(T), MT31(T) to

MT40(T) and MT61(T) to MT70(T), these configurations achieve Security Rating 1. Both barrel bolts must therefore be engaged to ensure that the doorsets meet the requirements of Security Rating 3.

3. The resistance of the access control locks and mechatronic cylinders to “non-mechanical” attack is not covered by this approval as they were outside the scope of LPS 1175. Likewise, the approval does not cover possible effects of any susceptibilities relating to the functionality and performance of any access control equipment that may be used to operate these locking systems / cylinders. This is because the scope of access control devices and system configurations that may be used with these locking systems is “infinite”. It is therefore recommended that specifiers satisfy themselves that the components used are either resistant to mechanical and other forms of tampering/abuse, or that they are suitably protected from such tampering/abuse and are resistant to any environmental conditions/interference that may cause the locking system to disengage.

4. Please refer to the manufacturer for more details on the position of the vision panel/louvre vents within the door leaf. 5. The DS2 outward opening padlockable hinged security doorset achieves Security Rating 4 in the minimum and optimum locked conditions. The

minimum locked condition exists when only one barrel bolt is engaged on the passive leaf. 6. Certification does not cover the use of padlocks other than those listed above. Utilisation of unlisted padlocks may affect the level of security

offered by the doorset. 7. The Abloy padlocks were only compatible when bearing an alpha-numeric code denoting the date of manufacture as December 2013 or later,

or when incorporating the ‘V01’ modifications. 8. The passive leaf of the DS2 padlockable doorset incorporates two HSTB barrel bolts.
