Since 1996, CGX AERO has been developing, integrating, distributing, deploying, and providing operational assistance for aeronautical and geographical information systems with strong added va-lue, for civil and military authorities worldwide (operating in more than 40 countries) Based in Castres and Toulouse, CGX AERO is an SME with 44 dedicated staff and an additional 20 affiliated experts.
In 2012, CGx AERO in SYS and its 100% subsidiary, CAT'Sud merged to become CGX AERO and is now helping small and medium-sized airports face new obligations by accompa-nying them into the new era of approaches assisted by satellites and extend its services to the ac-tors in Air Transport.

CGX AERO is the only company in the world in this area of expertise to achieve gold level partner status with Esri Inc. (the world leader in Geographic Informa-tion Systems).
Within Aerospace Valley (www.aerospace-valley.com), CGX AERO is among the founding members of GAIA Virtual Sky® Project (www.gaia.aero.com) and is also part of SimCA certified projects (Airport Driving Simulator).
CGX AERO and the Ecole Nationale de l’Aviation Civile (ENAC) have develo-ped a strong partnership since 2006 under the momentum of a cooperation with AIRBUS. This is expressed through a specialized collaboration on procedure design and aeronautical cartography. This partnership has also lead to an exclusive worldwide distribution contract of ENAC’s “GeoTITAN”, an Instrument Rating Procedure Design Software.

THE TRAINING
As the air transport industry migrates to digital technologies, more and more data are transmitted between aircraft and ground stations, between stations and airline’s facilities, etc. The challenge today is to process data as fast as possible to accelerate decision making, optimize operating costs, and improve productivity & punctuality.
