Thank you for taking the time to learn about us. We know this time is very difficult and

confusing for you, and we are so grateful that you want to spend this time getting to

know who we are. I know that we don’t know each other, but we’ve been praying for

you for a long time.

We admire your love and compassion for your child, and your courage to consider an

adoption plan for your baby. We are sure this decision is very hard for you, but we are

thankful that you have chosen life for your child. We are also so thankful that you are

considering us as you make this decision.

We’ve known that we wanted to adopt since we were engaged. Lacey found out

6 years ago that she wouldn’t be able to have children naturally, and the more we

discussed our options to grow our family we felt God leading us to adoption. Now, we

couldn’t imagine growing our family any other way.

our Story

Chad and I met in 2016, when I first met him, I knew he was something special. Falling

in love with him was the easiest thing I’ve ever done. We spent as much time together

as we could. Chad proposed on Christmas Eve 2017. Since then, we had the most special

wedding and have settled into married life pretty easily. We are truly best friends and

enjoy spending time together. We love to laugh and spend time at home with our three

dogs. There’s never a dull moment and I love that about our relationship.

Chad works in the Plant Engineering Department at UPS, and is going to school for his Civil

Engineering Degree. I work as an Office Assistant in a busy CPA firm a few miles from our

house. We both enjoy what we do for a living, and our co-workers and supervisors are

so supportive of our adoption journey. We can’t wait to add a baby to our little family!

Lacey is one of the most compassionate and caring individuals that I know. I knew from

day one that she was the "one." She is the most selfless person that I know. She would drop

anything she is doing to help someone out. The strength she has is in her is incredible. If she

gets knocked down, she gets right back up stronger than ever. This is one of her many traits

that I absolutely love about her. She somehow makes my bad days not that bad. I enjoy every

day we get to spend time together. I am proud to be her husband and be able to call her my

wife. She is truly my best friend. I do not think I could ask for a better wife to do this crazy

thing called life with.

Lacey loves our 3 fur babies and is a great mama to them. On top of that she loves to cook

and is an awesome cook. She can prepare anything that you ask her to and will also add her

own flair to it to make it even better. She is also such a hard worker, she’s an Office Assistant

at a local CPA firm. She loves her job and the people she works for.

Chad is truly the smartest person I know. He amazes me daily with his ability to work and

go to school and be so successful with both! He works for UPS in their Plant Engineering

Department, and is going to school to get his engineering degree. He is such a kind and

compassionate person, he has loved me and supported me through everything.

Chad has such a soft spot for children, the way he loves my god children is part of why I

knew I wanted to marry him. He makes me laugh until my stomach hurts, and he always

makes my days so much brighter. He is not only the best husband, but a wonderful son,

uncle, and friend. I am so proud that I am his wife. I know that God made him just for

me.

Our home is an older house in a quiet neighborhood, with great schools in the area

both public and private. Lacey bought our home 6 years ago because of how safe the

neighborhood is, and because of how close it is to her parents and grandparents. We have

three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large family room, and a big fenced in back yard. In one

of our spare bedrooms we have started putting together a nursery for when we are blessed

with a child. We can’t wait to fill our home with laughter and lots of toys! We love our house

because of how much room we have for a growing family. We also have a playground down

the street from our home that we can’t wait to use!

We enjoy going to the beach. Chad’s family has a beach house in Seaside, FL. Chad has been

going to that same house since he was little. We love the area and are so ready to share our

love for the beach and Seaside with our future children. We also enjoy going to places closer

to home. We enjoy going to Natchez and New Orleans. New Orleans is probably our favorite,

it’s the different foods and the culture that makes it so much fun.

We have three dogs that we love so much!

COPPER is a 6 year old bloodhound that is so sweet and laid back. He has the

cutest howl, and he loves his 2 year old Labrador sister Saylor. They spend most of

their time outside playing. SAYLOR is so cute and has such a funny personality. We

also have our 4 year old Rat terrier, RHETT who is spoiled rotten. He is mostly an

inside dog who loves to nap and snuggle!

We both have such supportive and loving extended families. Chad’s parents live about

20 minutes away and Lacey’s parents live two miles away. We spend a lot of time with

both sides of our families. We recently became an Aunt and Uncle to our sweet nephew.

Our families are so supportive of our adoption journey and can’t wait to add a new mem-

ber to our family!
