They have taken the changes of site, staff teams, routines and timetables in their stride and should be really proud of how far they have `travelled` in a short space of time. The offsite activities for the next half term will not change, although the Yr7 allotment group may need to be inside if the weather is too cold or wet for gardening. Some important dates for the dairy: Students return: Monday 31 st October Anti-bullying week: 14 th – 18 th November Children in need: 18 th November End of term: Wednesday 21 st December Christmas Holiday 22/12/16 – 2/01/17 Please can I emphasise how important it is to maintain good school attendance, this is especially important as the boys get older and gain more independence. It is important that you notify us if your son is absent from school and that you provide us with a suitable reason for their absence. As always, do get in touch with your son’s class team if you have any queries or email me directly at [email protected] Have a lovely half term break. Yours sincerely, Andy Millard Head of School Chaffinch Brook Upper
