Since 1930 the Chagrin Valley Little Theatre has been providing plays, musicals, youth theater education and special events to the Chagrin Falls community. One of the nation’s oldest community theaters, the Little Theater offers year-round entertainment at affordable prices.

The Popcorn Shop, open since 1949, is nestled in the heart of Chagrin Falls overlooking the waterfall that gave the town its name. The Chagrin Farmers Market is a local tradition that takes place right in the heart of downtown Chagrin Falls. Every spring and summer the market offers seasonal fresh produce, fruits, vegetables, bakery, fresh pastas, meats, cheeses, herbs and flowers. One of the crowning jewels of the Greater Cleveland area, the Cleveland Metroparks is an extensive system of nature reserves throughout the region. Informally known as the “Emerald Necklace,” the reservations tend to follow the rivers and creeks that flow through the region. The North and South Chagrin Reservations encircle the village of Chagrin Falls and boast a special combination of outdoor recreation areas and wildlife sanctuaries.

A relatively young film festival compared to its national counterparts, the Chagrin Documentary Film Festival has nonetheless drawn thousands of viewers to Chagrin Falls each year to enjoy a week’s full of short and feature-length films. The Blossom Time Festival has been a Chagrin Falls tradition for many years and is one of the best festivals in the area. The Valley Art Center has been a staple of Chagrin Falls for over 40 years and serves as the hub of the visual arts in the Chagrin Valley. The Art Center offers 400 classes to more than 1,400 students of all ages and abilities, and features gallery exhibits, art shows and events year-round, including the annual Art by the Falls.
