    Context

    Francis Kongs article !as a"out the #o!er o$ creative thin%ing and ho!

    these #eo#le are !illing and a"le to trans$or& the conventional to innovational.

    'e stated that creative #eo#le are the ones !ho see and drea& o$ the iossi"le

    to realit( and that the( are "adl( needed in toda(s societ(.

    Experience

    )henever I a& given a s(lla"us &ade "( a #revious instructor* I &a%e

    sure to incor#orate so&e changes. These changes ho!ever are not due to &(

    ego "ut $or &( students. I search and validate so&e in$or&ation !ritten in the

    s(lla"us i$ the( are outdated or there have "een corrections included. I also

    !ould incor#orate so&e ne! strategies that I +nd +tting $or the course. I a& not

    co&$orta"le* (ou see* in teaching so&ething and $ollo!ing a course outline ,s(lla"us that I didnt &a%e &(sel$. I understand the lesson "etter i$ I #re#are it

    $ro& the rationale to the evaluation. For instance* instead o$ the usual re#orting*

    I let the students search $or their to#ics assigned ahead o$ ti&e and let the& do

    varied #resentation st(les -video* slide* chal%tal%. etc./

    0hange is #art o$ li$e and change can onl( "e !ell a##reciated i$ the

    catal(st #uts so&e creativit( in it. )hat Francis Kong tries to tell us is that !e

    should not li&it our ca#a"ilities on !hat is given "ut do &ore $ro& !hat is given.

    )e need to "e creative in ever( ste# o$ the !a(. As a teacher* creativit( is

    al!a(s &( "est all(. Along !ith creativit( is &( resource$ulness. The( go hand in

    hand in &( ever(da( lessons. The( hel# &e do the unconventional -lecture/ to

    the innovational -%e(note/.

    M( net concern is ho! to %ee# &( creativit( intact and avoid getting

    distracted along the !a(. There are ti&es that I $eel la2( "ut in I reali2e that in

    ti&es li%e that !hich I get stronger in $aith. 3ust thin%ing a"out &( Lord &a%es

    &e stronger. 4o I 5ust chant his na&e and then I a& "ac% to &(sel$ again. I

    "elieve though that this is not the greatest struggle o$ a teacher !hen it co&es

    to change* "ut &ediocrit( and colacenc(. To co&"at this &eans "eing

    deter&ined and strong #h(sicall( and s#irituall( along the !a(.

    Evaluation

    6verall* the author is telling ever( reader that a creative #erson is not an

    eotic* hard to +nd individual. 'e actuall( lives close to us* and !ithin us. )e 5ust

    need to let hi& out and let hi& guide our actions. 'e is actuall( God. 'e is

    creativit(* the At&an* the 4u#ersoul that d!ells !ithin us. )e 5ust have to allo!

    'i& to guide our &entalit( and actions. )e should not "e a$raid to "e ridiculed i$
