An essential aspect of event-planning is having a team to oversee the entire process. From the early stages to the day of and after the event, we believe in having all the bases c overed so that all the small details are taken care of, and no unexpected situation is without a remedy or solution. Event management is broken down into two main teams that involve planning and execution. Once your vision and event-related needs have been clearly laid out, the event manager in turn gives a detailed plan that involves budgeting, marketing, hiring, catering and any other administrative tasks that go into the success of your event. Proper event planning prevents poor performance!

Mow, Mow, Mow Your Yard… Yes, kit is that time of year again...MOWING SEASON! It is time to start cutting the grass instead of shoveling the snow so please be sure to pick up your yard clippings after mowing, trimming, weeding and clipping. Be sure clippings do not end up in the street-they can accumulate and block sewers and grates which affects water runoff during rain storms. It’s such a short “green season” - let’s make it look good! Summer Concert Series The popular Burr Ridge summer concerts started up again on Fridays new start time—7:00 p.m. The schedule for July is as follows: July 10 Classical Blast July 17 Final Say July 24 Libido Funk Circus July 31 Reckless

EVERYONE COUNTS! All sectors use energy and play an integral role in impacting DuPage greenhouse gas emissions.
BREAKDOWN OF U.S. ENERGY
CONSUMPTION BY SECTOR
DuPage County invites residents, businesses and government agencies to join the Cool DuPage effort to reduce energy consumption. By working together, we can help DuPage County become more energy efficient and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
The Cool DuPage effort originated as part of the Sierra Club’s nationwide Cool Counties initiative to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
The countywide impact of this effort equates to the elimination of more than 250 million gallons of gasoline emissions.
By participating in Cool DuPage, households could see an average annual savings of $180 with a 10 percent reduction in energy consumption and nearly $360 at the 20 percent reduction target. Businesses fare even better with a potential annual savings of up to $120,000 for a 500,000 square foot office building.
DuPage has set a goal to reduce emissions levels
BE GREEN SAVE GREEN
10% by 2020 and 20% by 2030.
