Role - To co ordinate and administer a Civic Reception for all Partners and their agreed guests. To be in the early stages of the event. To include civic dignitaries and the guests of TZBO, DSIGO executive and their agreed guests, Partner/Sponsor guests as agreed, Heads of International Delegations, agreed officials of the event, agreed representatives of volunteer groups, Sport Partnership guests. Airport runs, possible minibuses or coaches. Possible travel dates, Thursday 5th - Monday 09th July. Other times possible by arrangement. Düsseldorf/Cologne the airport of choice. Hotel runs, circular minibus runs. And possible coach runs at peak times. SIGNAGE HOTELS Mercure Hotel + Sport Hotel, Bochum. SECURITY Possible offer to a volunteer group. LOW KEY need to keep site free of non involved people rather than disruption risk. Need to keep College premises secure at all times. Inform police, highways. Pass system must be in operation for Field of play. Parking officials and guests special passes. Central or North car parks would require reasonable observation only. Possible combine external Meet and Greet and directions to external security. Need to liaise with Jutta Nicolaus and any other possible event in vicinity. Research roads closures. Research weather. Bochum, Germany Dear Friends, The Organizing Committee supported by Turnzentrum Bochum-Witten 2010 e.V. have the pleasure to cordially invite you to the DSIGO World Gymnastics Championships that will be held in Bochum, Germany We will be honoured to have you in Germany and welcome you in our Region of the Ruhr Valley which will surely provide you with a comfortable stay. In this first stage we are kindly asking you to carefully read the informational letter. In this you will find all the details of the event that we are confident will be one of the biggest sport events of 2018. In addition, we are also kindly asking you to fill in the attached form “A” . This will allow us to estimate an approximate number of the participants; we remind you that the information you will supply us will be merely indicative. The official numbers of participants will be calculated from the 1st Entry Form, to be returned by 1st March 2018. COMPETITION FORMAT The competitions will comprise both Rhythmic and Artistic Gymnastics Age groups Junior and Senior There will be medals for first, second and third only. The World Championships DSIGO rules declaring World Champions. The World Tournament SO rules.The levels will be the current Special Olympics routines as shown on the SOI website. Willl declare International Champions. There will be just two age groups – Junior (under 16) and Senior (16 and over) Female gymnast can only compete either Rhythmic or Artistic but not both. ACCOMMODATION: All the delegations will stay at LOCAL Youth Hostel or Mercure HOTEL Rooms vary in size from single to multi-bed rooms.

Delegation arrivals are expected during the day of July 05th 2018. Arrivals are expected to be in Düsseldorf or Cologne/Bonn International Airport; please note that we suggest to book your tickets in order to arrive the July 05th between 9:00 am/10:00 pm. Intercontinental flights and long haul will be accepted on 04th July. ACCREDITATION The details about accreditation procedure will be sent in following information. TRANSPORT: For all participants the L.O.C. will provide transport from and to the airport, and from and to the venue. No courtesy cars will be provided. Also for parents and supporters will be a transportation service on demand on payment from and to the airport (no services from and to the venue) If you want to rent a car, there are many international car rentals in Düsseldorf Airport (such as Hertz, Avis, etc…); we suggest you reserve the car before your arrival. MEDICAL SUPPORT: The LOC will provide a team of medical staff that will be present at the venue during competition. In case of an injury or a problem that cannot be treated immediately, the ambulance service will accompany you to the nearest hospital, not more than 10 min away. Of course, all teams are advised to organize their own insurance prior to their arrival. INSURANCE: All delegations are responsible for their own insurance. The O.C. will NOT be responsible for any material damage, injuries or loss of property, etc. should something like that happen to the participants during their stay in Germany. TELEPHONE: International Telephone cards are easily to use and purchasable at local shops. If you prefer to buy one German Phone Card for you mobile phone, with a pay-as-you-go system, remember that you may need your identity document (Passport) to activate it. ENTRY FEE: Every member of delegation is obliged to pay € 120, 00 per day, - for the whole period. Entry fee is intended PER PERSON in DOUBLE or multi-bedroom and includes €25 as the DSIGO capitation fee. Single Room Supplement €40 per day The fee covers local transports, full board (from dinner July.05th to breakfast July 09th) and accommodation.

Timing of Payment The first 30% of the total entry fee is payable by May 1st 2018 with the First Entry by Name The second payment of 70% of the entry fee must be paid by July 1st 2018, with the Second Entry name and events The FULL amount is to be paid by July 1st 2018.
