You should and have to apply for TRAVELLING VISA, do not mention anything about AIESEC or internship but state your purpose to visit to be merely “travelling” to make the procedure easier

There are 2 ways to extend your visa (as the exemption period is no less than 30 days )

+ You can go to Immigration Dept in HCMC to extend your visa. It would take you a lot of time to finish.

+ You can take a short trip (2-3 days) to Laos or Cambodia. When you come back to Vietnam after that, your visa will be extended for a certain period of time

You can make visa online through: http://www.polviet.com/index.php?page=visaen

CCOMODATIONA

Chance Giver Project is one project of International Volunteer Programme in AIESEC FTU HCM, which is a non-AIESEC host programme. You will work directly with La Pagoda, and they will take care of you in working, transportation, accommodation, food. Therefore, if there is any matter of working, transportation, accommodation, food, please contact the representative immediately. If the communication with the pagoda is too difficult, AIESEC can support you, but cannot be sure that the matter will be solved according to your expected result as AIESEC is not the decision maker

1. pick up you at theairport, prepare SIM card, city and bus map (you are required to pay for both items), answer your questions relating to adaptability such as how to use money, to which places you should travel, how to communicate with Vietnamese people, how the culture is, provide Vietnamese classes if possible...

2. Welcome and farewell parties, bondings: Normally, we find a suitable place for food and then walk around to take photos with beautiful sights. Each person will pay for himself/herself, including AIESEC members and interns. The ceritificate is given to you in the farewell party.

Solve problems by yourself first. If it isreally serious, ask for AIESEC FTU HCM for support, do not ask your LC if not necessary because they cannot help you when you are in Vietnam

Interns should together with AIESEC implement surveys for students and teachers to learn how developed they are and to see how successful your internship is.

Interns are required to do Personal Development Plan to make measurement for his/her achievement after the internship.
