Dear Families and Community Members:

Chandler Creek has adopted the Capturing Kids Hearts Model for Social and Emotional Growth. The stakeholders of the school have created the mission statement where we can empower students to be leaders, learners, and caring citizens who strengthen community. Each day students are welcomed with a smile and a handshake and launched with the S.T.A.R. motto supporting respectful and responsible student actions.

On the SC School Report Card, Chandler Creek received a rating of Good overall. The school showed a rating of Excellent in student progress and overall the parent community showed 100% satisfaction with the school learning environment.

Chandler Creek was honored to be chosen for the top ve state nalist for the Dick and Tunky Riley Award for School Improvement. The school efforts to reach students and families with the Block Party Model has allowed the school community to increase community and business partnerships and to extend the work of the school year into the summer months with the Summer

Lunch Buddy Program. In all efforts, the school is committed to building and strengthening relationships with students, families and community as we look to the future.

The school was chosen as the recipient of the Greer Leadership Class 39 Project based on involvement in the larger community. Chandler Creek Elementary has new playground surfaces, interactive play areas, and a school sensory room to serve the needs of students. The Path of a Champion Project will be revealed to the larger community in May at the end of the year Block Party.

In closing, Chandler Creek Elementary is a school where continuous improvement is highly evident. With an intense focus on student learning and the belief that building relationships is essential, Chandler Creek is serving students, families, and community to support the growth of Greer, South Carolina. We are proud to be a school which is Building a Community of Champions.

Chandler Creek Elementary students in grade 3-5 scored above the state in both ELA and Math Performance for the 2017-2018 school year. Chandler Creek improved a + 18 points overall in the area of math to exceed both the district and the state average. The school received an Excellent for the student progress indicator on the SC State Report Card.
