CHANDRAPURA ITI was founded in 2013 at Chandrapura township. Of Bokaro Jharkhand. The Steel city JHARKHAND. It was born with the mission and foresightedness to nurture the local youth with capacity to earn better livelihood by the selfless and dedicated effort of the chairman of the trust. HISTORY It was a cherished desire of the – “JHARKHAND EDUCATION DEVLOPMENT TRUST” Establish a Technical institute to the SC /ST and backward communities of CHHOTANAHPUR region in particular and the whole nation in general in the hard and Competitive age with the menacing problem of unemployment, It was felt to be the most Burning need of the times to prepare the present generation conforming to the Requirements of the modern times. Thus the idea was conceived and after much sweat and Toil achieved its goal.

After its establishment the society applied to the state Govt. and took No Objection from the State Govt. and approval from the D.G.E.T. New Delhi.

LOCATION The CHANDRAPURA ITI is situated at Raja Beda Road,Near DVC Training Institute, Chandrapura, -828403 a Steel city in Jharkhand. The Place is most suitable for an educational institute.

How to Fill Application Form

ELIGIBLITY The candidate must have passed S.S Examination /Matric/ I.C.S.E /C.B.S.E or Equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Local and Land loser of Chandrapura Project. AGE LIMIT A candidate seeking admission should not older then 35 Years on the 1st of July of the year in which the session is starting. Relaxation in age is allowed to Candidate belonging to ST /SC as per the rules of Govt. of JHARKHAND. PHYSICAL FITNESS

I. A Candidate should be free evidence of any infection of contiguous disease . II. Height - Minimum 137cm.

III. Weight - Minimum – 25.4 Kg IV. CHEST - Expansion not less than 38cms. V. EYES - Minimum standard to vision.

Addmission Procedure

I. All entries should be made in English block letters only II. Signature of student and parent / Guardian should be made at the appropriate place.

III. Application From should be submitted with the following document along with the duly Tilled copy of the Application from.

a. Three Xerox copy of marks sheet(Matriculation) b. Three Xerox copy of age proof certificate(Matriculation passing Certification) c. Three Xerox of S.L.C or C.L.C d. Three Xerox copy of caste certificate only for SC / ST e. Three recent Passport Size photograph f. Catogory 1 stands for land loser of DVC, CTPS Project of will be given preference in

admission on production of suitable document. g. Local resident of Chandrapura Block residing within 10 km of CTPS Project on production

duly certified copy in this regard from BDO/CO of Chandrapura Block. h. The reservation of seats for ST/SC to be observation as per Govt. of India norms. i. Economically poor candidate for the SC/ST will be preferred in selection based on

production of income certificate from the authenticated source. ADDMISSION TEST All candidate seeking admission to the first year of I.T.I Course (if any Trade) will have to appears at an admission test. COURSE OF STUDY The Institute in its academic programme Impart two year I.T.I courses in following trades (1) Electrician (2) Fitter (3) Welder MORAL STUDIES- Lectures on moral instruction and national integration arte arranged from time to time for all the students of this institution ACADEMIC SESSION- For all trades, the academic year consists of 24 month commencing in the month of August/September. INDUSTRIAL VISIT Industrial visit will be arranged to help the students to acquire practical knowledge about the technical problems in industry during the visit Student shall observe current method and practices and evaluate them with reference to their Discipline and Environment. This process of learning gives the student’s confidence in tacking day problem. When they begin there.

Acadmic Programme & System

SESSIONAL OR TERMINAL EXAMINATIONS – Student will have to appear in Monthly sessional or Terminal tests each year besides sessional or Terminal exam, some marks will also be awarded on the basis of attendance and performance in the class. 1ST YEAR TO 2ND YEAR PROMOTING EXAMINATION – After completion of 1

st year course there will be a first year to 2

nd year promoting exam to be

conducted by the institute. FINAL EXAMINATION- All the students shall be required to attend the classes regularly No student will be allowed to appear in the final examination without having at least 80% of attendance (including medical) in each individual subject.

FUTURE PROGRAMME The Institute has sent proposals to concerned Department of State And Central Government for introducing the following trade of I.T.I 1. TURNER 2. ELECTRONICS (MECH.) SHORTTRALNING COURSE- The Trust has started short training courses in different trades to enable the below matric to have technical knowledge for self employment wage employment or the case may be. COMPUTER COURSES – The Institute is also going to computer courses for the development of advance knowledge the students. LIBRARY- The Institute has a well furnished library having sufficient number of book on trade the Libran as sufficient reading facilities for the students. WORKSHOP- The institute has workshop well equipped as per the norms of the DGET & State Government. IDENTITY CARD & DIARY- The student will be provided with an identity Card which has to be produced on demand to the authorities of the Institute Duplicate IDENTITY Card may be issued on payment of fine and necessary fee loss of identity Card must be reported to be competent authorities immediately.

STUDENT AFFAIR COUNCIL (SAC)- The student affair Council (SAC) consist of nominated representative from each branch. The co-ordinators of council will be one of the faculty members. The function of the SAC is to bring forward the problems faced the students. GAMES & SPORTS- The Institute has facilities for almost all. The popular games including indoor ones. COMMON ROOM- The Institute has a common room for the students with the facilities of popular games. DISCIPLINE-

1) Student must behaved in a most disciplined and cordial manner with the campus and outside.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. The information contained in the information Brochure is only for general guidance and should not be treated as legal document. It could be changed/ modified from time to time by Competent Authority of the institute.

2. The beneficiaries of the course will be local residenents of Chandrapura block amongst which priority for admission will be given to the land loser of CTPS project subject to (i) Fulfillment of the laid down criteria of DVC for land loser.

3. The fee, once collected, is not refundable as per NCVT norms. 4. Cancellation of Admission: The institute reserves its right to cancel the

admission of successful Candidate under any of the following circumstances:

a) If the fee is not deposited by the stipulate date. b) If the candidate dose not join the particular programme by the

stipulated date even though the fee has been deposited. c) If the candidate fails to furnish the proof of the stipulated minimum

qualifications. 5. The competent Authority of the institute reserves the right to alter or

modify the structure of any of the programs to attain the objective of excellence.

6. The institute reserves its right to change the existing fee structure. 7. The institute reserves right to modify, alter and / or include any other

Terms and Conditions that may be deemed necessary in the interest of the student.

8. Jurisdiction: Any dispute pertaining to admission, or any mater as a student or alumnus of Chandrapura ITI shall be subjected to the jurisdiction of the Bokaro Courts only.

9. Ragging within or outside the institute is prohibited. Whoever directly or

indirectly commits, participates in, abets or propagates ragging within or outside the Institute shall, be punished which may extend to fine/ expulsion/ imprisonment.

10. Agreement Clause: All successful candidates shall be bound by above mentioned Terms and Conditions of Chandrapura ITI.
