About The Poet
Jill Eggleton
Jill Eggleton is an International Educational consultant, with a wide variety of teaching
eperiences, spanning thirty years! "he has taught many schools of different socio#economic and
cultural bac$grounds! "he has been an %ssistant Principal for several years in large urban schools
and a teacher representative on a school board! Jill has wor$ed as a lecturer training teachers in
&'alanced (iteracy&!
"he has been a $eynote spea$er at International Reading conferences and presented wor$shopsat conferences in )ew *ealand, +nited "tates, %ustralia, Canada, and Papua )ew uinea!
Currently, Jill provides practical in service training in the area of &'alanced (iteracy& for
teachers throughout )ew *ealand and internationally! "he is a consultant in a large multi#cultural
school, where she trains teachers! "he wor$s in the classroom assisting with the implementation
of literacy programs!

Synopsis
Changing Days are rhymes about things that children see around them! .hese rhymes use simple
and repetitive language that young readers can relate to and understand! .he colourful
