TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:

Oxygen system charging (FILL) adapters are used for connection between the groundservice station and the airplane oxygen fill valve. One end of the adapter attaches to thehigh pressure service hose coming from the ground service system, while the other endconnects directly to the aircraft oxygen fill valve. The adapter is constructed of rugged, heavy--duty brass and is fitted with an integral filter and flow restriction orifice. It is provided with dustplug to prevent the entrance of foreign contaminants while disconnected. The adapter is proofpressure tested at 3000 psi for safety. It is provided with hose fitting per MS 33656-4 (mateswith 1/4 inch flared tube connection).

The hot potable water unit consists of a cart equipped with a high-density polyethylene tankprovided with UV inhibitor and a hand pump.

Unit features:

– Output fill hose: 4572 mm (15 ft);

– Cold-weather units include: 120 V AC (50-60 Hz) thermostatically controlled mat heater and insulated cabinet;

– Potable water coupling: K-2411 included;

– Tire size: 254 mm (10 in);

– Weight: 157.9 Kg (348 lb).

NOTE: This equipment may be used as an alternative to GSE 193, provided the current limitations and capacity of the potable water system are complied with.
