Chapter 12What Leaders See
Leaders Have a Vision There is a difference between a vision
that you have for the future and a vision that is an outlook.
Leaders are able to look towards the future and have an idea of what they see or want.
When you have a vision you see the invisible, feel the intangible, and achieve the impossible.
Leaders Create it Twice Leaders are able to create this vision
twice. Once in their head. Once on paper. So, what is in your head?
There are two ways to look at the future:
Fatalism- The thought that everything will happen beyond our control.
Proactive- Choice, not chance determines reality.
Developing our Vision First- Determine the values that will
be used in decision making. Second- Get in touch with reality.
What is really happening? Third- Re-think the plan and re-think
reality. Fourth- Devise a plan, set your goals. Fifth- Get after it!
Only You are Responsible for your Future!
Speech: How I plan to make a Difference in
