Chapter 7Fundraising Activities by Chapter

February is an exciting month at the AFC Broward Chapter. The AFCFlower Sale is the icon of the Valentine celebration. Sales are spectacular, andthe college employees are recognized in a lovely way by their peers. It is alsoa time for recruitment and fundraising at Broward College collegewide. It’s justa treat to see so many red carnations on campus!

The chapter also expanded its fundraising efforts. We set up tables atconventions to sell raffle tickets to win one of our donated wine baskets. Mem-bers donated baskets and items to fill the baskets such as wine, cheese crack-ers and cookies. They also volunteered their time to sit and sell raffle ticketsduring breaks in conferences.This helped support the Broward Chaptermonthly expenses/needs.
