the meaning of chemical

elementChemical element is only one substance that can be parted to be another substance by chemical reaction. The element consists of metal and non-metal. The pure substance has characteristic that can be differences with another substances. For example, hydrogen is only

arrange of hydrogen atom. Oxygen is only arrange of oxygen atom. The characteristic of oxygen and hydrogen is not appear on the substance that formed both of, such as water(H2O).

The characteristic of chemical elementToday we had known 114 the kinds of chemical elements that consists of 92 natural elements and 22 synthetic elements. Its according to their characteristics, the chemical element can grouped into metal, non-metal, and metalloid. Metal, like; iron, zinc, and cooper. Non metal, like; carbon, nitrogen, and oxygen. Silicon and germanium are metalloid.Metal is the element that shine and is generally conductor. The elements of metal has the shape solid on normal temperature and pressure, except liquid mercury.

Chemical Compound

Chemical compound is composite of several elements that forming in chemical reaction. The chemical compound has different characteristic with its arrangements. It is written in chemical reaction. The chemical reaction is substance that consists of symbol grouping with specific composition.

The characteristic of chemical compound

Comparing the characteristic of chemical element with the chemical compound that formed for

arrange the substance. Such as, C2H4 (Etena), H2O

(water). Empirical formula is the chemical

formula that said about little comparing the atoms quantity of the chemical compound former.

Mixture

Mixture is composite of several substance with unconstraint comparing

without chemical reaction.
