· Specific personality items revealed by what a character thinks, says, and does.
· They are different than just an emotion a character might feel at one time.
· These are permanent characteristics about the person.

I make my way to the front of the room. The same kids who laugh at everything I say, laugh at the way I am walking, so I break into a gorilla walk, swinging my arms down and leaning way over form one side to the other and back again.
