THE GRAiID TALL SEZ:
I sure appreciated the incz·eased nu.:it.er of our nenbers at our regular oee\ings~ It is encouraging to . count the nuuber of ~ heads and see they are on the upward trend each nonth. I hope to see 100 present on June 16th. Won't you help by being there? -..__ , .
In April, we had ~ one new candidate, three in .May, but due to certain events and happenings, I have reason to b&lieve that there will be a charp increase in ~eubership during the reJ:Jainder of the year. Hope the rabbits survive the ordeal of cha.ngi.Jlg ho:oes so of.ten.
If you. \~ere not at Atlantic City Convention, you Dissed .a good tine, ask anyone who was there. Nake plans for next year, and don't l!liss it again~
***** • ************ • * ~ ******** There will be a Special Neeting following the reg
ular neeting on June 16th. Make youF notes on the papers distributed at the last ueating and bring then along. It is to you·r own and the interest of your Forest to lend an attentive ear and offer your sug-gestion.s.
**** ********** ':' *** *********** DANCE & PARTY
The l-iusic Rooo of the Chalfonte Hotel at Atlantic City was the scene of a party and dance on the Satuxday night of the Convention-that is after the other scheduled happenings had happened. Although part of the OU.sic was canned, Brother Frank Heidick and our Past Grand Tall Layton ~·iiner tickled the i ·vories, and had President Trunan been there, he would have been envi~us. It was one SWELL PARTY.
