Dear Brother Knights,

!When you’re having fun time goes very fast, right? That saying sure does fit my past year serving as your Grand Knight. I am so proud of all of you in all that you accomplished this past year and how you supported our Council. It was a total team effort. I am so humbled to have been your Grand Knight. !Our many projects continued to support our Prince Of Peace Church, Community and Council. The Rediscover Jesus Book Project introduce by Dick Heiztman was an amazing program that will continue to thrive within our Parish and Community as more and more people exposed to the book will grow in their faith and pass it on to others. !

Our annual Fish Fry was another success helping the young people of our area to receive a Catholic Education. The Italian Dinner, Oktoberfest, Youth Formation Dinners, Meals on wheels, Christmas Card Sales and the list could go on but you know how busy we all were. !What an outstanding council you are and know that you will continue to support your next Grand Knight and Officers to achieve these goals and more new ones. !Thanks to our Chaplain Father Kovanis for his guidance and leadership. We appreciate all the support he has given us. Also thanks to our Worthy District Deputy, Marc Anderson. We appreciate their guidance and leadership that they brought to our Council this past year. !Last but not least a big thank you to my wife, Judy, for her support and love to help guide me through the year. It was through her wanting to see the Knights succeed that allowed me to shine. !We have kicked off our membership drive Beginning with the April 23 POP Bulletin. With the support of Father Kovanis we will be conducting a 5-week membership campaign. Information about how the Knights were started by Fr. Michael J McGivney is the 1st week topic. Each church bulletin will display a different picture with additional information about the Knights our projects and why they would benefit from becoming a Knight. It will culminate on May 21st inviting them to a free pancake breakfast after the 8:00 and 10:00 Mass’s. At that time we will have Knights available at the breakfast to answer questions and sign them up. !Congratulations to our newest 3rd Degree Members Albert Kalamba, Joe O’Brien and Joe Epstein for receiving the honor on April 22nd. As you know all 3 have already been very active in our Council and great so see their involvement. !At our meeting in May we will be asking for officer nominations. At our June meeting we will close nominations and vote on the new slate of officers. Two very important meetings, so be sure to attend. !It will be sad for me to step aside but it is time to turn over the leadership to other Worthy Knights to continue our journey set out by Father Michael J. McGivney. Thanks for all that you did for our Council and me. You will be remembered in my prayers. !Blessings to you all, !Don Mangers Grand Knight

4th Degree Assembly 2533 !Sir Knights. Well it is that time again. Time to elect New Officers

to our Assembly. Election day is Monday 15th of May. !We need YOU to please come to the meeting so you can help vote for our New Officers. !We couldn’t have a meeting in April as we didn’t have enough members. We needed 12. We have sent out alerts to all of you that have E-Mail addresses. So please, our meeting is at Prince Of Peace, Conesa Hall on MONDAY AT 1:00 P.M. 15TH OF MAY, 2017.

!!We didn’t have an April Pancake Breakfast (Easter Sunday). We will have one in May Sunday 21st at 8:30 AM until 11:30 AM. If you cannot work come and have breakfast. !As you know, we use the profits to help our VA Brothers at Haley Hospital and the Fisher House.
