Charles Babbage was a mathematician, inventor & a
Philosopher. He was born in London, England on December 26. 1791.
He played a crucial role in the scientific world. Babbage`s
greatest achievement was his detailed plans for calculating
engines. Babbage was also an important political economist. Babbage
lived and worked for over 40 years at Dorset Street Marylebone,
where he died, at the age of 79 on October 18. 1871.
