THE CAST

Jenna Albitz – (Ensemble) - Jenna is a freshman who loves music and singing so she thought that auditioning

for her first High School musical would be worth a shot.

After the auditions, she was very nervous for the

results, but when she heard her friend scream her name to

come and look at the sheet, she was ecstatic to discover

that she had made it into her first High School Musical.

She would like to thank her friends, loved ones, family

members, and special people in her life for the advice

and encouragement she needed to make this musical a fantastic experience. Haley Bado – (Ensemble) - Haley has been to many places from Hogwarts to the Hundred Acre Woods and she

has decided to take some time out of her travels to

perform in her second high school musical, ‘9 to 5’!

Haley is very excited for everyone to see her as a

piglet with poison and in all her office outfits while

singing, dancing, and of course, having fun. In case

you miss her, Haley is the happy little blonde girl with

freckles on her face. She hopes you will enjoy the

show! She wants to remind everyone to face your fears and live your dreams;

it takes one thing to accomplish something, courage.

Becca Barton - (Ensemble) - Becca is a fifteen year old freshman at CV. She loves to dance, sing, and act

which made the musical a perfect fit for her.

Previously, Becca was a member of the cast of ‘Annie’ in

Middle School where she was a dancing servant. Now,

Becca makes her high school performance debut as an

ensemble member of the cast of ‘9 to 5’. She hopes

everyone enjoys the hard work everyone put in to make

this production! Rocki Boulis - (Violet Newstead) - Rocki is a senior and is sad to see her last year in a CV musical

come to an end. From her freshman appearance as the

Sour Kangaroo in ‘Seussical’ to Rusty in ‘Footloose’

and The Wiz in ‘The Wiz’, she has come a long way in

the past four years. She’s leaving her final mark on

the CV stage as Violet in this year’s production of

‘9 to 5’. It’s an awesome way to finish her senior year

and she couldn’t have asked for a better part! She’s

had a blast with her musical family and would like to thank everyone

involved, especially her fellow seniors who have created a special bond that

will never be forgotten- the fun moments as well as the sweat and tears. It’s

been a pleasure working with everyone & watching them grow and work so hard

on this production. A huge shout out to everyone who has ever come to see her

in a CV production, including her incredible friends, and the people who work

behind the scenes, including, crew, lighting, sound, costume moms, the band,

and of course the people who deserve so many acknowledgements for their hard

work: Ms. Scalise, Mrs. Jenkins, and Mr. Zang. Thank you for putting up with

me for these past few years, I look back at all the obstacles in my acting

career and you all helped me with patience and great instruction. Thank you

for your faith in me, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Mom, Dad,

Gram, Soc, and Gabbi what can I say besides I love you very much because

without you giving me love and support to continue with the thing I love the

most, I’d never accomplish all I have! It’s been an incredible journey with

all of my 9 to 5 cast mates and I wish you all the best in the future! Enjoy

the show!

Samantha Brunner - (Ensemble) – ‘9 to 5’ is Samantha’s fourth and final musical on the CV stage.

She’s sad to see the experience end of course- but she is

excited to pursue a career in Cosmetology come fall! Sam

would like to thank her cast, crew, and directors Ms.

Scalise, Mrs. Jenkins, and Mr. Zang for all the help,

wisdom, and guidance they’ve given her in the last four

years. Also, she would like to shout out to her amazing

friends and family for always supporting her! Love you

guys! Super special shout out to all the seniors in the cast- it’s been a

great four years, I love you guys! Sam would especially like to thank her

baby sister Sherri! It’s been such a blessing to share the stage with you for

the past two years, I love you Sherri! A special thank you to her awesome

mom for being her best friend and rock through everything high school has

thrown at her and to her strong father for always being a great support on

and off the stage!

Sherri Brunner - (Ensemble) - This is Sherri’s fourth show on the high school stage; she is thrilled to

be a part of this year’s production of ‘9 to 5’! She

would like to thank her family and friends for their

love and support over the years. Sherri would like to

give a special shout out to Leanna and Emily for all the

awesome memories! Sherri would also like to give her

biggest thank you to her big sister Sammy! “I hope this

year is your best year yet! LOVE YOU LOTS!” Lastly, she

hopes everyone enjoys the show.

Gavin Calgaro - (Dwayne / Tinsworthy) - Gavin is thrilled to be playing the roles of both Dwayne Rhodes

and Tinsworthy in this year’s musical! This is only

Gavin’s second year performing in the musical, but he’s

no stranger to the auditorium; Gavin has been technically

involved with the shows for all four years of high

school. Last year, Gavin was Lord High Underling in ‘The

Wiz’ and earlier this year he starred as Tony in the fall

play, ‘You Can’t Take it With You’. Gavin is so thankful

for the support from his wonderful family and friends. He could not be

happier to share his senior show with the incredible cast of ‘9 to 5’! Julia Cipriani - (Ensemble) - Julia Cipriani is a 2 year member of Dance Troupe and Drill Team. Outside of

school she dances at the Thomas Studio of Performing Arts

and competes with their dance company. Julia is super

excited for her 2nd high school musical at CV and can't

wait for the years to come!

Christa Colavincenzo - (Ensemble) - Christa is a 2nd year member of dance troupe and a 3rd year member of

majorettes. This is her second musical and she

is extremely excited.

Jennifer Condio - (Ensemble) – Jennifer is a two year member of Drill Team and a one year member of

Dance Troupe. She is also a member of Spanish Club and

National Honors Society. Jennifer will be attending

the University of Pittsburgh next fall to major in

biology. This is her first high school musical and she

is very excited to perform with all of her friends!

Carly Coulibaly - (Ensemble) - This will be Carly's second high school musical at CV. She also performed in

last year’s musical, ‘The Wiz’. Carly is also a two year

member of Drill Team and Dance Troupe. She is very proud

to be performing in this year's musical of ‘9 to 5’, and

is very sad that this will be her last year on stage with

this amazing group.

Samantha Efthimiades - (Ensemble) - Samantha is a freshman at CVHS. She is a first year member of Dance

Troupe along with being a first year member of Drill

Team. This is her first high school musical and she is

thrilled to be a part of it with Troupe. She would like

to thank Mrs. Jenkins, her team, and her family and

friends for their help and support through this year.

Kelly Evangelista - (Roz / Kathy) - This is Kelly’s 4th

and final musical production. This year, she had the

immense pleasure of play both Roz and Kathy! She was also

in ‘Seussical’ and ‘Footloose’ as a member of the

ensemble and was featured as Aunt Em and The Gatekeeper

in last year’s production of ‘The Wiz’. Most recently,

Kelly was seen as Penny Sycamore in the fall production

of ‘You Can’t Take it With You’. This is a bittersweet

moment for Kelly; she’d like to thank her friends and

family for their continuous love and support! She’d also like to thank Ms.

Scalise, Mr. Zang, and Mrs. Jenkins for giving her the opportunity to take on

these amazing roles. Kelly would also like to thank all of her friends, both

in and outside of theatre for always being there for her. Kelly plans on

attending IUP in the fall to major in Nursing. Lastly, she wants to shout

out to all the seniors: “I love you guys! Thank you for making these last

four years so memorable! I’ll miss you all so much! <3” Joseph Franc - (Ensemble) – Joseph is a junior in high school starring in his first ever musical in

years! He does a variety of activities in school, such

as Chorus, Orchestra, and does all kinds of sports like

Track and Cross Country. His favorite part of doing the

show has been meeting new friends and helping each

other during the sessions. He has been very excited to

practice for the show and can't wait to show his stuff

in the coming performances.

Sarah Gallagher - (Ensemble) - Sarah Gallagher is a junior at CVHS. She is a one year member of the Dance

Troupe and a two year member of the Charvalettes. This is

Sarah's first musical and she is so excited!

Alexandra Goldstein - (Ensemble) - Alexandra, a senior, is thrilled to conclude her CV theatrical

experience in ‘9 to 5’! Alexandra is a Cancer/Leo cusp,

ascending Sagittarius who has performed in a lucky

seven shows in The Valley. Previously seen in roles

such as Munchkin #1 and Crow, Miss Goldstein is a bit

of a professional ensemble woman. When not in the

auditorium, one can likely catch Alexandra

participating in one of her 1,006 other activities,

doing yoga, or most likely slicing bagels at the local Panera. Alexandra

would like to thank Ms. Scalise, Mrs. Jenkins and Mr. Zang for being the

niftiest group of directors in town. Also, Alexandra sees it fit to give a

shout-out to the class of 2013: it’s been quite the ride, but they couldn’t

have ended it on a better note. These seven years together really did

transcend. After concluding high school, Alexandra plans to attend a four-

year university to major in Anthropology and French, with hopes to pursue

International Relations or Law… or something. Before she has a “moment”,

Alexandra would like to send her regards to the audience, in hopes they enjoy

the show! Thank you all!

Hannah Gordon - (Ensemble) - Hannah is a second year member of Dance Troupe and a third year member of Drill

Team. She is also a member of the National Honor Society

and Spanish Club. After graduation she plans on attending

Ohio University, majoring in Education. This is her third

high school musical and she is very excited to

participate in it!

Alina Gropelli - (Ensemble) - Alina Gropelli is a senior dancer. She is a third year member on Dance Troupe and a first year

captain. Individually, she has performed in ‘Footloose’,

‘The Wiz’, and also three different Showcases throughout

her time in high school. This year she has been inducted

into the Thespian Society at CV. She is thankful for

being a part of such a wonderful cast and team! Every

moment spent with them, she will cherish forever because

she does not think she will get this opportunity again!

Matthew Guerry – (Franklin Hart) – This is Matthew’s 4th

musical and his eighth theatrical appearance on the

CVHS stage. He is incredibly grateful to have been a

part of this production of ‘9 to 5’ and would like to

thank all of the cast and crew, past and present for the

memories he’s made with them over the years. In the

fall, Matthew plans on studying journalism in the fall at

Penn State and is looking forward to whatever adventures

lay ahead of him.

Desiree Hajnos - (Ensemble) - Desiree is a 4 year member of Dance Troupe and a 2 year captain. She has

been on the CV stage since freshman year preforming in

‘Seussical’, ‘Footloose’, and ‘The Wiz’. She will be

furthering my education to eventually become an

elementary school teacher. Even though this is her last

year Desiree would like to thank everyone who has been

a part of her life for these four fabulous years. “It

really has been an amazing journey and I can't thank

you guys enough. P.S when I'm gone don't miss me too much ;) love you lots!”-

Des

Olivia Heckroth - (Ensemble) - This is Olivia’s second high school musical. She was in ‘The Wiz’, ‘You

Can’t Take It With You’, and is extremely excited to be

a part of the ‘Nine to Five’ cast this year. She has had

a great time preparing for this year’s musical and she

can’t wait until next year. She would like to thank her

family and friends for supporting her throughout this

entire experience.

Megan Henderson - (Doralee Rhodes) - Howdy ya’ll! This is Megan’s fourth and final musical on the CV

Stage and although deeply saddened March 9th

will be her

final curtain call, Megan takes with her amazing

friends, memories, and experiences. Megan is incredibly

honored to be portraying Doralee Rhodes in 9 to 5 this

year and if you’ve frequented the CV Auditorium in the

past, you’ll remember Megan as the flighty pink Bird

Girl in Seussical, the sassy friend from Bomont, Urleen

in Footloose, and most recently as a young girl from Kansas named Dorothy in

The Wiz. Apart from musicals, Megan has also been in the Fall Play

productions for the past two years; Megan was The Ghost of Christmas Past in

A Christmas Carol, and just a few months ago, Megan shared the role of

Princess Anastasia look-a-like Mrs. Kirby with her dear friend and zodiac

connoisseur Alexandra Goldstein. In the fall, Megan plans on attending a

four-year university to major in musical theatre or journalism and public

relations. None of this, or anything you’ve seen on the stage in the past

could’ve been remotely possible without our directors to whom I owe so much!

For everything you have done, taught me, inspired me to do and above all

becoming my friends, a tremendous thank you to Ms. Scalise, Mrs. Jenkins, and

Mr. Zang. Also, if you spot a costume mom, be sure to commend them on their

work with the shows, Mrs. McDermott, Mrs. McIntyre and Mrs. Brunner and

everyone else deserve so much more than anything we could give them! Before

she goes, Megan has a family like no other to thank! They’ve listened to the

songs, watched the dances and learned the lines right along with her-even

when they didn’t want to. Thank you for being my biggest fans for the past

six years and always letting me use the kitchen as a stage! Love you and

like you! Baby Megan can’t wait to make you proud!

Lauren Joseph - (Ensemble) - Lauren has performed in three musicals during her high school career. She is a

three year member of Dance Troupe and Drill Team. Lauren

is also a one year captain of both teams. She is a member

of National Honors Society and Spanish Club. Lauren also

performed in the Macy's Day Parade on Thanksgiving in New

York City this past year. She is planning on going to

Point Park University to major in Communications and

hopefully minor in jazz dance. Lauren is very excited to

perform 9 to 5. She has enjoyed her time performing in the musicals. Kayleigh Kane - (Ensemble) – Kayleigh Kane is a sophomore debuting in her first high school musical,

however, she has been on stage many times for Chorus,

Fall Play, and for the CVMS performance of ‘Aida’ in

2011. She feels the peak of her musical career was

being able to dance around in a towel onstage and not

being escorted out by police. She plans on continuing

in the performing arts until she graduates and possibly

afterwards.

Katie Kearney - (Ensemble) - Katie is a two year member of Dance Troupe and a two year member of the Drill

Team. She is an excellent student and has received high

honors throughout high school. This will be Katie's

second musical and she couldn't be more excited!

Alec Kinslow - (Josh) - Alec is a freshman and is excited about his first high school musical performance.

He would like to thank his fellow cast members, along

with Ms. Scalise, Mr. Zang, and Mrs. Jenkins for their

encouragement and guidance. He wishes the senior cast

and crew members much success after high school. Also,

he would like to thank his entire family for their

never-ending support. Enjoy the show!

Maggie Ledrick - (Margaret) - Maggie Ledrick, a junior at CV, is delighted to portray the wonderfully

anomalous role of Margaret. ‘Nine To Five’ is Maggie's

7th high school theatrical production on the CV stage,

being preceded by ‘Footloose’, ‘Silver Screen Symphony’,

‘A Christmas Carol’, ‘The Wiz’, ‘Everlasting

Impressions’, and ‘You Can't Take It With You’. In

addition to the performing arts, she is very involved

elsewhere, serving as treasurer of Student Council,

secretary of Interact Club, treasurer of Spanish Club, and vice president of

Select Chorus. She would like to thank the wonderful Ms. Scalise, Mrs.

Jenkins, and Mr. Zang, whom she enjoys every minute rehearsing with

immensely, all of her beloved cast-mates who she will miss dearly, and her

highly supportive friends and family; especially her dearly missed best

friend and biggest supporter, her mother. She hopes everyone enjoys watching

the show as much as she enjoyed creating it! Atta girl! Corrine Lumadue - (Maria Delgado) – ‘9 to 5’ is Corinne Lumadue's first musical at CVHS, and she is over

the moon to be playing Maria Delgado. As a freshman, she

hopes to be in all of the musicals to come!

Patrick McCollum - (Dick) - Born in the country of Botswana, Patrick James grew up to be a fun, loving young

gentleman. This is his fourth production on the CVHS

stage and he loves every minute of it. Mr. McCollum would

like to thank all of the beautiful shining faces out in

the audience for coming to tonight's performance. Also,

he would like to thank his adoptive parents, Mr. and Mrs.

Mark McCollum for taking him in and dealing with him all

these years. He truly is thankful. Patrick is a proud

member of the Drumline here at CV and loves playing the tribal drum chants

and return call patterns of the east with his single snare drum. Patrick has

enjoyed all of his time in the musicals, but is excited to return to his

hometown for the African Festival of the Arts this summer. Thank you all for

coming, and enjoy the show! Mitchell McDermott - (Joe) - Mitchell is extremely excited to be part of the wonderful cast of ‘9 to 5’

during his sophomore year. This is his third performance

in the Spring Musical at CV; he has previously been part

of ‘The Wedding Singer’ and ‘The Wiz’. When he's not on

stage acting, Mitchell enjoys writing, playing, and

recording music of his own and hopes to one day make a

career of his work. He is currently part of an

alternative rock band, The Morning After, and the indie-

rap group, VGOD. He couldn't thank Ms. Scalise and Mrs. Jenkins enough for

helping to further his skills and helping him grow as an actor, vocalist, and

dancer. Finally, he would like to wish all of the seniors good luck in the

future.

Ranae McIntyre - (Judy Bernly) - Ranae McIntyre, a sophomore, is completely thrilled to have the opportunity

to play Judy on the CV stage. This is her fourth high

school theatrical production, having also been a cast

member of ‘A Christmas Carol’ (Caroline), ‘The Wiz’

(Addaperle), and ‘You Can’t Take It With You’ (Alice).

In addition to her participation in CV theater, she also

performs in productions with Pittsburgh Musical Theater.

She has had the time of her life throughout the rehearsal

process of ‘9 To 5’, and cannot express enough gratitude for Ms. Scalise,

Mrs. Jenkins, and Mr. Zang for making this opportunity possible for her. She

would like to thank her parents for always supporting her in everything she

does and her brother for all of his encouragement and acting tips. Also, she

wants to thank her wonderful friends, and her entire family for always being

there for her, and her voice teacher for helping her with the difficult

vocals for the show. Ranae is so happy to be a part of this production and

she hopes you enjoy the show! Jessica Mannering - (Ensemble) - Jessica Mannering is a senior here at CVHS and this happens to be her

fourth and final musical performance. Her previous

shows consist of ‘Seussical’, ‘Footloose’, ‘The Wiz’,

and now ‘9 to 5’. She feels blessed to be a part of

such an amazing group of kids that spend countless

hours working to perfect each show. She has done it all

from Ensemble (3 years), to Dance Troupe (2 years), and

also Stage Crew. She would like to thank Mrs. Jenkins

and Ms. Scalise for the most incredible four years she could have ever asked

for and she would also like to extend a thank you to her extremely talented

cast-mates for always being supportive and hardworking. Love you all!

Emily Meyer - (Ensemble) - Emily Meyer is a second year member of both Charvalettes and Dance Troupe.

Outside of school dance, Emily is on a competitive dance

team. This will be her second high school musical and

she can’t wait to perform!

Lydia Nelson - (Ensemble) - This is Lydia’s 6th

CV

musical production and her third consecutive High

School show. She is delighted to spend another year

with her spectacular cast members, crew, and directors

and she can’t wait for next year’s show! Lydia is also

a proud member of the CV Select Chorus. She hopes to a

wonderful senior year in 2014 and feels blessed to have

her amazing and supporting friends and family behind

her. Shout out to the seniors; Good luck! S/O to Little Liz for always being

there; munchkinz unite.

Emily Palma - (Roz / Kathy) - Emily is a 16 year old sophomore at CVHS. ‘9 to 5’ is her first appearance on

the high school stage and Emily has the fortune of

portraying both Kathy and Roz. She has been taking voice

lessons with Hilerie Klein Rensi for the last 9 months

and has seen refinement in her vocals. Emily has been a

member of the CV Chorus since 6th

grade. In her spare

time, Emily enjoys 80’s movies, Disney movies, manatees,

Peter Pan, and science-fiction books. She hopes to

continue with the musical throughout high school. Oh…and she would like to

thank her parents for taking her to some of the best concerts she has ever

seen in her life and for always encouraging her pursuit of music. Angela Pannitti - (Missy) - Angela is so excited to be a part of ‘9 to 5’. She has been performing since she

was 5 years old and has loved it ever since. Angela

would like to thank Ms. Scalise and Mrs. Jenkins for

producing such an amazing show. She would also like to

thank the entire cast for being such cute and perfect

people.

Leanna Pietracatello - (Ensemble) - Leanna has been performing in CV musicals since 6

th

grade. ‘9 to 5’ is her

fifth consecutive CV musical and she plans to continue

performing throughout high school. Leanna loves

performing because while doing so, she has found she can

be whomever she wants. Over the years, she has come to

know the cast a one big family and she will be sad to see

the seniors go on to bigger and brighter things. “Break a

leg everyone!” Rebecca Ralich - (Ensemble) - Rebecca is 14 years old and this is her first year in the high school

musical! She really loves the show this year! Ever

since she was little, she has always wanted to perform

and be in the musicals and maybe even make it on

Broadway! I guess you could say this has been a

lifelong dream of hers. Her family has been really

supportive of her dreams and can’t wait to see her

perform on Broadway! She hopes her high school musical

career will be the start she needs and she can’t wait for next year’s show!

these incredible moments with such a wonderful group.

9th

Wally, his mom, his sister Abby “I LOVE YOU GUYS!” Lastly Alex would like to

say “ENJOY THE SHOW!” Maddi Hess (Deck Crew) - Maddi is a senior at CVHS, this is her third production behind the scenes. She has been on stage crew for The Wiz, You

Can't Take it With You, and is thrilled to be a part of “9 to 5”. She would

like to thank her family and friends, especially Austie and Sydney for

showing her the ropes of crew. Maddi is attending Pitt to study pre-med in

the fall. She is excited to move on in her life. She will never forget the

memories and friends she has made.

Tom Kovach (Production Manager) – Tom is a 3-year member of stage crew. He helps with building, lighting, and stage managing. When he’s not in

the performing arts department, he is playing football, soccer, bowling, or

rocking with the marching band. Austin Pilz (Student Technical Director) - Austin is the honorary son of the director and enjoys all things that flash, glow or explode.

Tyler Raco (Stage Manager Left/Set Construction) - This is Tyler’s fourth and final year of musical. For the past three years he has been in the

back of the auditorium running the spotlight, and for his senior year, he

will be backstage as stage manager. His freshmen year, he gained the nickname

Peter - which no one really knows where it came from, but it has stuck with

him ever since and he eventually grew to love it. Tyler plans on attending

Faber College in the fall and will major in either pre-law or pre-med

(because they are about the same thing) and will join Delta Tau Chi

fraternity. He will miss everyone and hopes to look back on his high school

and remember all the great times he had in the auditorium with his friends.

Special Thanks to:

Dustin Giffin, Jason Zang, and Cathy Jenkins, for not only your

friendship, but the countless hours of work you put in to help

make all aspects of this production happen – without you as a

part of this team, none of this would be possible.

Austin - for all of the hours you spend with me helping behind

the scenes for this production, from digital design to painting

to pure entertainment – you help make this all possible. I can’t

thank you enough. You will be sorely missed!

Sandy Scalise for the time you put in show after show for me all

these years later, even now when I’m not the one on stage

anymore. Your endless support and contributions to the show are

invaluable.

“The Costume Moms” – Dana, Wendy, and Melanie - for your tireless

efforts and contributions to the production and the program.

Words can’t express how wonderful it is to have your help

“dressing up” this production to make it the best it can be.

Giffin Interior for your contributions year after year to our

program and your support of the arts.

All of the parents, families, and teachers who donated these

“ancient” costumes, sets, and props from their houses and

closets, as well as office supplies to help make this production

as realistic as possible.

And lastly, my family – Jameson & Dustin – thank you for embracing the show in every way I do and for sharing all of these

experiences with me. Your support, presence, and patience mean

the world to me and this production would not be the same without

your contributions.
