CHASE BRIDGE NEWSLETTER 21st December 2016 Happy Christmas What a busy end of term it has been for everyone – but very enjoyable too. The children have loved performing their Christmas shows for you. The choirs have also been singing their hearts out for lots of different audiences including all the Quins fans at The Stoop last Saturday – it was quite an experience! Year 5 and 6 have ended the term with their carol service at Ss Philips and James. I am very grateful to Father David for welcoming us all – it was a very special event. The String Ensemble performed last week - my thanks to Miss Sims for leading them and one of our musical parents Stephen Gregson who accompanied the children. A big thank you too to another of our parents, Mattias Andersson who organised a brass group for the school fair as well as our carol service at Ss Philips and James – and on top of that accompanied Reception on Little Drummer boy! We have also had Christmas parties, the Christmas meal and of course the excellent Festive Fair organised by the Friends of Chase Bridge. A record of all these events and more is on our Facebook page and, if you haven’t looked before, the Chase Bridge YouTube channel which is a wonderful collection of videos and store of memories of all the amazing things that children, staff and parents get up to. Last of all can I thank you for the cards I have received and wish you all a very happy Christmas and prosperous New Year. I look forward to see- ing you in 2017 on Wednesday 4 th January at the normal time.
