Patrick Gale has wrien two collecons of short stories and fiſteen novels. His thirteenth novel, Notes from an Exhibion, was the Independent Booksellers’ Associaon Adult Book of 2008 and a Richard and Judy Book Club selecon. Rough Music, A Sweet Obscurity and Friendly Fire are beginning to win him a European following, thanks to successful transla- ons into French and Dutch. The Whole Day Through, published in 2009, was a Sainsbury’s Book Club choice and a Radio 4 Book at Bedme. His latest novel is A Perfectly Good Man, published by Harper Collins in March 2012.
