Child friendly is the new index of preference.
Real estate has begun to use a new measure, ‘The Child Friendliness Index’,
to assess loca�ons based on three parameters key for children – the number
of schools, hospitals and parks and their proximity to the loca�ons being
assessed. This index uses a scale of 0 to 10, with 10 being rated as the most
child-friendly.
Chembur scores a whopping 9.1 on The Child Friendliness Index,
thus proving that it is the best loca�on to bring up a child in Mumbai.

Mumbai’s air quality had deteriorated during the early part of
February 2018, as The System of Air Quality Weather
Forecas�ng and Research (SAFAR) recorded an average Air
Quality Index (AQI) as 271 (poor).
However, Chembur’s AQI score was a pleasant surprise as it
was the lowest at 119.This proved that Chembur enjoys a cleaner
quality of air. With be�er air quality, it is also well situated to o�er
a be�er quality of life vis-à-vis the rest of Mumbai.
