37 - 002Infrared Spectra of the Novel Ge2H2 and Ge2H4 Species and theReactive GeH1,2,3 Intermediates in Solid Neon, Deuterium andArgon. — As revealed by IR spectroscopy and quantum chemical DFTcalculations, laser-ablated Ge atoms react with H2 in excess Ne and Ar duringcondensation at 3.5 K to produce GeH2 as the major product and GeH, GeH3,and GeH4 as minor products. Digermanium species Ge2H2, Ge2H4, and Ge2H6
