17 - 149Palladium-Catalyzed Cross-Coupling of Unsaturated Phenols withVinylic Halides and Triflates. — o-Allylic phenols such as (I) undergoa Pd-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction with vinyl halides or triflates to form2-substituted dihydrobenzopyrans and, in some cases, minor amounts of2,2-disubstituted dihydrobenzofurans.
